Baked suet pudding, a savoury dish to accompany a roast dinner, we often have it with roast pork. An old fashioned dish to pad out a roast dinner, making the meat go further. The recipe comes from my Grandfather's sister, Iris who worked as a cook in a large house in London. The recipe is simple. 8oz self raising flour, 4oz suet, about 10oz potato diced into 1 cm pieces, 1 onion diced the same, decent pinch of salt. Mix with enough cold water to bring it together. Grease a 7-8 inch dish and bake in a medium to hot oven, times can vary according to what else you're cooking, around 45 minutes cooking time. It's lovely and well worth trying if you've never come across it before, good with a roast, I bet it fries up well with some black pudding too for breakfast. Whisk the eggs then add to the pan, allowing to just set on outside before folding in the edges and shaking or tilting the uncooked eggs to outside. 6. Once 75% cooked though, turn off as heat will continue cooking through. 7. Slice or mash your avocado. 8. Scatter over some chilli flakes, dried nori and parsley to make it sexy. Pour the cake batter in a cake pan and put it in the oven at 180°C for 1 hour and bake. 3. After 1 hour, remove the cake from the oven and cool off. 4. Then cut it into 3 separate layers. 5. In the other bowl put 400g chocolate, 200g of warm heavy cream and mix. 6. When the ganache is ready, put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours to cool down. 7. When the ganache has cool off, spread it on the cake sheet. 8. Repeat this step for 3 times until the ganache is on each layer of cakes. 9.
