Rosemary sea salt flavoured almonds. They look very simple, but actually it takes some time and effort to make them amazing: 1) blanch and peel organic raw almonds 2) soak them for 12 hours in clean water at room temperature 3) strain the almonds and desiccate them in a dehydrator or oven on low temperature (~50C) for 24 hours 4) mix the dry almonds with sea salt and dried rosemary or other spices. I also added an egg white, so the spices stick to the almonds, but that‘s optional. 5) roast the almonds + spices in the oven for about 15-20 min on 175C. The blanching and soaking reduces the amount of antinutrients (phytate) that almonds naturally contain, making them better digestible and more nutritious. The roasting brings out new flavours and crunch. H Y B E N // Det siges, at 1,5 dl af disse små vitaminbomber indeholder ligeså meget C-vitamin som 35-40 appelsiner. 😍 Stærkt immunforsvar here we come!! . . Jeg er stor fan af hyben, men knap så stor fan af at rense kernerne ud, da det tager viiiiirkelig lang tid, når man gerne vil have en god portion hybenskaller i fryseren. 😏 . . Derfor vil jeg denne gang forsøge mig med at lave hybenpulver af hele hyben inkl. kerner. Vi er i sommerhus i denne uge, så vi har været ved stranden for at plukke en ordentlig portion. Min plan er at hakke dem i en foodprocessor og derefter tørre dem et par timer i ovnen ved 50 gr. Til sidst kommer de en tur igennem en kaffekværn, så de bliver til fint pulver. 🤗🌱 . . Pulveret vil jeg bruge i smoothies og som drys over morgenmaden. Oswald er allerede vild med de friske hyben, så jeg tænker, han hellere end gerne hopper med på hyben-smoothie-vognen 😋🤩🌱 . . Et ægte, naturligt, gratis C-vitamin-boost til de vinterkolde dage. ☀️❄🌱
