I am a big fan of bars; not the kind you belly up to, the kind you eat. I am especially fond of bars for breakfast. There is many a day that I need something I can just grab and go. If I spend a little time in the kitchen on a lazy Sunday, it makes the rest of my week start off a lot quicker.⁠ ⁠ These particular breakfast bars are a little naughty and a lot nice. Nice because they are packed full of gluten free oats, heart-healthy nuts and seeds, freeze dried fruit, and coconut milk. They are gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, and vegan. The naughty comes from the addition of some dark chocolate; but just a little naughty since there are some major health benefits to eating just a bit of dark chocolate (not to mention some major taste benefits)!⁠ ⁠ This is a versatile recipe you can change up to suit your own preferences; I added sliced almonds, roasted pumpkin seeds, freeze dried berries, and,of course, some dark chocolate chips. Cinnamon Banana Oatmeal Bites. Freshly baked and smelling delicious! Vegan and sweetened with dates these are great for breakfast or as a snack. 🍌 Cinnamon Banana Oatmeal Bites 2 large bananas 1/2 c pitted Medjool dates 1/4 c coconut or olive oil 1 t Vanilla 1 t cinnamon 1 t baking powder 1/4 heaping t. sea salt 2 c gluten free rolled oats Preheat oven to 350. In food processor add bananas, dates, oil & vanilla and process until smooth. Add cinnamon,baking powder & salt and process until combined. Add 1.5 c rolled oats and process for 5-8 seconds. Place this mixture in a bowl and stir in the remaining 1/2 c. oats. Mound mixture into small balls onto baking sheet and bake for about 8 minutes or just until the balls are set. Breakfast is a Big Deal....for me. I fully respect people who have chosen to intermittent fast, but I just love breakfast...it’s comforting, it’s routine. Rote Beete Nutella nach dem Rezept von paleo360de Feine leichte Schokocreme. Die Rote Beete schmeckt man gar nicht heraus. Zutatenliste nach links ⬅️ wischen. Zusätzlich habe ich noch 2EL MCT Öl ca 1EL Rum optional 2 EL Mandelmilch hinzugefügt Zubereitung: Haselnüsse bei 180 Grad O/U backen, Abkühlen lassen und im Küchentuch reiben. Der größte Teil der Schälen geht so ab. Die Haselnüsse im Hochleistungsmixer cremig rühren, bis das Öl austritt. Süße ( ich hab 3 EL Xucker genommen), Kakao, Vanille, Rote Bete, Rum, Öl hinzugeben und mixen. Im Hochleistungsmixer, auch wenn man immer wieder zwischendurch alles nach unten schieben muss, wird die Konsistenz fein cremig. Blackberries / these little beauties are a sure sign that despite the glorious weekend weather, Autumn is nearly upon us. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ These berries are packed full of vitamins (including A,C & E) and minerals (including potassium, magnesium and calcium). Their lovely deep purple colour stems from a high level of anthocyanin which is an antioxidant that reduces the impact of natural oxidation reactions in the body. Una buena idea y diferente de preparar los huevitos al desayuno 😉... Aquí bati los huevos con sal, pimienta y ajo, y los puse en estos moldes de cupcakes, pique tomate cherry, quesillo y jamón de pavo, se lo agregue. Biscuits and Gravy... with a side of football🏈🏈 ..................................................................... biscuit recipe. 2 c unbleached all purposed flour more for rolling 3/4 c whole milk chilled in the freezer 1/2 c butter (more for brushing) chilled and cubed 2 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda. Instructions Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place cubed butter and measure milk in the freezer. Blend flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder and soda in a mixing bowl and set aside. Remove chilled butter from the freezer and add to the dry mix. Using a pastry cutter, cut the cold butter into the flour making a coarse ground consistency. Add the milk and work into the flour to form a soft crumbly dough. Pour out onto a floured surface and knead into a 5-6 inch rectangle. Fold in half and knead a total of 3 times ending with the same rectangle. (See the picture diagram above.) Roll with a rolling pin and cut about 6-8 biscuits using a 3-inch biscuit cutter or the mouth of a juice glass. Reknead and roll the remaining dough then cut out last biscuits. Brush with melted butter and bake for 11-14 minutes. Mutabbaq Zaatar | مطبق زعتر فلسطيني My husband brought back from Amman pretty much every essential in a palestinain household. From nabulsi cheese, to olive oil, labaneh, fresh sage, and of course there had to be fresh Zaatar! Every time I walked into my kitchen, the aroma of the fresh Zaatar consumed my sense of smell, so you can imagine, I could not wait to make these delicious Zaatar Mutabbaq today! These are absolutely fabulous on their own with a cup of tea infused with sage, or alongside a middle-eastern breakfast. Thin layers of dough in between which is packed a tone of zaatar, sweet onions, and sour tangy sumac. The bitterness of the zaatar comes through, but is quickly broken by the sweetness of the onions. They're absolutely perfect. . 🥞Green Protein Pancakes 🥞 . Happy Sunday!! My family loves to wake up slow, watch cartoons, and snuggle on Sunday mornings. But when those tummies get to tumbling, I want to do something special. Today my youngest asked for green pancakes. I thought a second and here you go!!!! I hope you enjoy Sunday pancakes as much as we did! . 🥞 2 cups your favorite pancake mix (I used pioneerpancakes) 🥞2 eggs 🥞1 1/2 cups your milk of choice (I used unsweetened almond) 🥞1 ripe banana 🥞 2 scoops vanilla protein (I used officialpureprotein) 🥞4 giant handfuls spinach 🥞1 tsp pumpkin pie spice 🥞1/2 tsp vanilla extract . In food processor: banana, milk, protein, and spinach. Blend until smooth. . In bowl, whip eggs, add pancake mix, green liquid from food processor, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix until smooth. . Place on hot griddle, flip when the pancakes start to bubble. Place on a plate with your favorite toppings!! . Fun topping options: berries, pumpkin or apple butter, banana slices, agave syrup, maple syrup, nut butter, or nutella!!! . Let me know what your family thinks!
