Finally, test results I'm excited to share!
A year ago I thought I was healthy. I worked out every day and seemed to be conscious of what I ate. Never mind that my fruit was usually smothered in PB and my hub's grilling was almost a daily staple😉. So imagine my shock when I was told my cholesterol was high! Even though my doc didn't seem too terribly concerned, it was an eye opener for me!
I immediately started cutting back on breads, PB, and red meat. Instead, we ate lots of fresh fish, used olive oil instead of butter, fell in love with avocados, and switched to almonds.
And in the last two months, I've developed a new love for cooking with all fresh ingredients and experimenting with different oils and seasonings. It's been totally fantastic to have a more natural diet!
And the best part? My cholesterol and LDL levels each dropped 30 points, bringing them well into the normal range.
