Being self employed is hard work. but I’ve learnt a few things that make it easier! ✅ 1) Eat breakfast - something healthy with nutritional value, but also something you love (hint why I went avo and eggs + some cheeky bacon, it’s not a sin to eat food that makes you happy). 2) Smoothies - If like me, you struggle to eat when you’ve just woken up, I also have a slightly smaller portion with a light smoothie along side it. It keeps me going until lunch and washes down breakfast nicely! 3) To Do Lists! - I live by these, not on a phone or a computer, but hand written lists. I find that writing it out sticks everything in your mind. Get everything down there too, your shower, doing laundry, everything you need to do that day, not just business errands- because then you can manage your time more efficiently and realistically. 4) Keep your work space tidy. Wherever you are doing admin, it’s almost impossible to concentrate if there’s a mess surrounding you. If you don’t have time to sort that out, add it to the list, or go somewhere like a cafe where you can relax. 5) Do as much yourself as you can. This may sound like the opposite of what you’d expect, and this is obviously dependent on your skill set, but challenge yourself - I made my website myself, which has saved me time and money long term. Instead of relying on other people to constantly make changes and update you, you can do it straight away. I’ve also learnt new skills that I can apply to other aspects of the business 😁 Do I live by these? Of course not, I constantly stray from this and I always regret it. I’m organised, but sometimes life gets in the way, it’s unpredictable. Which brings me to my next point. 6) Don’t guilt- trip yourself. We all lose our way and lose focus, instead of dwelling on it and making yourself feel worse - pick yourself back up and start again fresh. You’re only human after all! 😊

What Pro YT Moderators Eat for Breakfast Ep . 3(❓) Macros: 783 calories, 86g of carbs, 39g of protein, 32g of fat. - ~5 servings of egg whites 2/3rd tbsp of olive oil 1/4 cup of mixed peppers 2 ounces of guacamole 1 cup of honeydew melon 2 chocolate waffles (kodiakcakes) 2 tbsp of honey - Instead of highlighting an ingredient today, I wanted to highlight a little strategy I use to incorporate more vegetables into my breakfasts. - It’s not secret that consuming vegetables and plenty of them is the key to longevity. To promote optimal health, you’ll likely want to incorporate at least a serving into each of your meals (plus some fruit at maybe half of your feedings). - That recommendation might change if you’re a high level competitive athlete that requires a ton of calories, and veggies might make the amount of calories you’re able to consume suffer. But most high level competitors aren’t exactly the spitting image of health (and shouldn’t be even tho people like to put them on a pedestal), which is a post for another day and time. - Back to the main point, a lot of people struggle to get in veg during meal 1. The main tactic I like to use is steaming or stir frying some vegetables first and then pouring your eggs over them to cook into a scramble. Omelets work well for including veg as well. Worst case, if you don’t want to cook your eggs into your veg, is to drink some sort of veg juice at breakfast. While not optimal, it’s practical. And sometimes practical is a good first step towards optimal. - The vegetables I find this strategy works best with are bell peppers for whole eggs and spinach (or kale) and mushrooms for egg whites. If you’ve got any other veg you think goes well, let me know and I’ll try it out!

It pretty much changed lives when keto became fashionable a few years back. 𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙗 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧? 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙡𝙮, 𝙮𝙚𝙨. By cutting out the pasta, you’re also cutting calories. And by suddenly embarking on a low carb plan, you’ll also reduce muscle glycogen storage and the accompanying water that goes with it 💦 . So initially, you’ll drop weight fast. But beyond this, fat loss is still likely to occur due to fewer calories. It’ll tip the energy balance equation in your favour and you’ll get leaner. Vegan red curry 🌱 veganrecipe ————— Ingredients: -3 oignons -2 zucchinis -800 ml coconut milk -Jasmine rice -400 g cherry tomatoes - 1 red bell and 1 green bell pepper -400 g crushed peeled tomatoes in puree -Curry madras powder -Green lemon -Oil -Coriander -Salt & pepper • Preparation: - Cut the onions, zucchini, red & green peppers - Warm a large pot over medium heat. Once it’s hot, add the oil. Add the onion and stir often, about 5 minutes until the onions have softened and are turning translucent - Add the coconut milk, the crushed peeled tomatoes in puree and the curry powder to the your pot to medium heat -Add directly the zucchini, red & green bell peppers. -Cover for approximately 25 mn -Meanwhile, cook your jasmine rice -Add the cherry tomatoes 10 minutes before the curry has ended to cook -Serve in a plate the curry then the rice.
