Took my wing and rubbed them down with olive oil and then seasoned the hell out of them with caribeque island thyme. I used it last week and loved it so I’m using it agin! This time I air fried the wings instead of smoking them cause I’m hungry and impatient ;) this is one the first bbq rubs I found that have no msg, no sugar added. Many of you replied to my stories that you wanted the recipe for these super easy almond flour muffins. We have been enjoying them with the spicy pumpkin paleo chili I shared yesterday along with a tasty soup I'm sharing later this week 😋 I've been making almond flour sandwich bread for years and on a whim, I turned that recipe into these muffins and I'm really digging them. Hope you do too 👇🏻 ⁣ 1 cup almond flour⁣ 1 Tbsp. baking powder⁣ 2 Tbsp. tapioca flour⁣ lots of pink salt⁣ 3/4 cup runny almond butter⁣ 2 Tbps. avocado oil⁣ 2 whole eggies⁣ 1 Tbsp. madhavafoods honey⁣ ⁣ Mix all ingredients together and plop the batter into a paper-lined muffin tin (this will make about six muffins). C U L I N A R Y S K I L L S 7 ⋆ I’ve completed my 6 cold meals now (SCROLL DOWN ⬇️) so last week the OT & I planned my 6 hot meals & here is numero uno 👐🌸🍃🍽🍄 ⋆ I had a LONG think about what would hopefully advance my recovery in time for Crimbo bimbo 🎄 TW (talk of EDs) ⚠️ Part of my problem is food prep ~ the orthorexia side of things means in EDna’s world, I need fresh ingredients, spend FOREVER prepping so it’s ‘perfect’, cook in a ritualised way & spend another 20 yrs presenting my meal (or even a bloody apple!) 👎 No no no, I’m desperate to get rid of this! I (v wrongly) believe what I put in my bod must be fudging ‘clean’ (😡) & ‘perfect’ (no such thing!) for me to ‘deserve’ to eat it ... FOOD HAS NO VALUE?! I don’t need to earn it ~ I don’t earn the right to breathe! It’s infuriating spending so much time obsessing then becoming overwhelmingly distressed & self-destructive 🤕🍵👣🌷👩‍🍳 ⋆ ANYWAY, the point of me explaining this is to hopefully help others with similar traits, ED or no ED 🙏 I’ve chosen 6 meals that are COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone to challenge thinking errors 💪 CONVENIENCE foods that force me to do minimal prep ~ in the real world I won’t have 3 hrs to make tea, nor will I always want to, so I’ve made up scenarios that mean I have to eat quickly & get on with life (just wait for next week!) 😁 Shove it in the oven/pan ~ chill or chores as I wait ~ plonk it on a plate ~ scoff ~ wash up ~ get on with freedom & the life I wanna lead ! 🎈🌅🕊🥑🌀 ⋆ & so here is 1/2 wholecreations SHEESY PIZZA (SWIPE ⬅️ ~ the 🧀 was amazing & not too creamy) with SALAD & a dollop of englishprovender RED ONION CHUTNEY (a super amazing dip for roasted tom & basil pizza!) 🍅 I had a eattrek flapjack for protein afterwards too 🍕 I have to shop alone now which is v difficult because of the choice/urges but tonight’s scenario was ... Have you ever heard of smashed potatoes? If you haven't, you're in for a treat! I had a big bag of small to medium potatoes in my pantry that needed to be cooked before starting to sprout. So I decided to try this recipe. It's so easy to prepare. You just need to boil potatoes until tender, remove from pot and carefully crush them. Add salt, pepper and any spices you like and bake them with a little oil until golden and crunchy on the outside. If you're feeling brave maybe try asafoetida. It's supposed to taste like a combination of onion and garlic. Just make sure to use it sparingly! Such an easy meal tonight! Vegan sloppy joes (literally just a bag of gardein crumbles and a can of manwich sauce (yes it’s vegan)) and vegan mashed potatoes (1/4 cup vegan mylk and 2 tablespoons vegan butter)! So delicious!

My homemade “Easiest chickpea pot pie soup” is the absolute best for a chilly day like today! This is my favorite soup recipe ever and it’s super easy to make! My recipe (makes two servings) includes: •4 cups veggie broth •3 cups alternative milk (I used almond) •1 cup of flour •2 full potatoes or 6 mini potatoes •1 can corn •1 can green peas •1 can chickpeas •1 can carrots •2 teaspoons of vegan seasoning (I use better than bouillon) •two tablespoons garlic powder •two tablespoons onion powder •sprinkle of oregano •sprinkle of thyme •1/2 cup nutritional yeast •sprinkle of olive oil Literally just mix all of that together in a pot and cook for about 15-20 minutes depending on when the potatoes become soft! If you wanna add some panko bread crumbs on top feel free to do so! 🥰🥰🥰
