These whole30 CRAB CAKES & AVOCADO AIOLI are so good I can’t wait to eat them again tomorrow! Crab Cakes: *16 oz lump crabmeat *2 tbsp compliant mayo *1 egg *1/2 cup carrots, finely chopped *1/2 cup celery, finely chopped *1/4 cup almond flour *2 tbsp avocado oil *1 tbsp hot sauce, I used franks red hot *1 tbsp parsley Avocado Aioli: *1 large avocado, peeled and pitted *1/4 cup mayo *1 tbsp fresh lemon juice *2 cloves minced garlic *1/2 tsp dried minced onion *2 tbsp water, more to make it thinner Instructions: 1. Drain the crab meat and place in bowl. Add all ingredients for crab cakes to bowl and continuing adding almond flour as needed to keep patties together. 2. Heat oil in pan on medium to high heat and cook each patty for 5-7 minutes on each side or until brown. 3. Add all ingredients for aioli in blender and add water 1 tbsp at at time to create desired consistency. Enjoy! After many rounds of steroids, puffers, nebulizers, and antibiotics we decided to seek further advice. We saw a natural health practitioner in Brandon and she gave us some great insight, advice and suggestions. Dairy/ Wheat 🌾 are the first to go.. He also needs to eat vegetables- and he hates them. Increasing his iron naturally would also be a benefit, as she suspects it is quite low, and I agree. So here is the recipe: HE(sister & I) ATE, ASKED FOR MORE & wanted to take to school for left overs! 🍝1 lbs ground beef(we are fortunate to have really awesome neighbours who have really awesome home grown beef!) 🍝1 large jar of pasta sauce (I used my homemade sauce) 🍝1 can kidney beans (extra iron & fibre)*only used half can* 2 cloves garlic (because more garlic!!❤️) 1 tsp turmeric (anti inflammatory) 1 tsp black pepper (anti inflammatory) 3 raw carrots 1/2 green pepper 1/2 sweet onion Sea salt. OMG! I made my first fall recipe of the year and they are the 💣! . I am the classic fall b***ch who loves all things pumpkin. I was looking for recipes that combined pumpkin and chocolate that were also gluten free. I had a hard time matching a recipe to the actual ingredients I had in my house so I made my own version🤷‍♀️ . Here’s the recipe: 1 cup pumpkin 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted) 1 tsp almond milk 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup coconut sugar (I actually made my own by grinding up coconut flakes) 1 cup almond flour 1/2 cup oat flour (I also simply took oats and ground them up) 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp cardamom 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp xanthan gum 1 cup dark chocolate chips . Heat oven to 350. Line baking sheet with parchment or tin foil- no need to grease. Form the lil cookies into 1 tbsp balls and place on baking sheet. They will not spread out while baking. Cook 15-20 minutes. Let them cool 2 minutes😍

Being stuck on the m6, after a long day in work is not the way I would usually like to spend my Wednesday nights. However, after 3 hours in my car, I came home and cooked this Creamy Steak and Spinach dish, from thebodycoach, while drinking the rest of the wine and cheering a best friend up. Even though, I plan my meals two weeks in advance (may have a slight planning obsession), it was the exact dish which was needed for tonight, 15 minutes to get on a plate from the chopping board, and packed with flavour and goodness from the spinach and steak. It’s beginning to feel a lot like fall here in the Northwest 🍂 Which made it an easy decision to make GLUTENFREE BAKED APPLE DONUTS 🍏 I was able to use gravenstein apples from my mom’s apple tree in this recipe. One of my go-to lunches lately has been chickpea ‘chuna’. It’s so delicious, packed with protein and iodine, super easy to whip up and requires no cooking. I love to have it on open face sourdough sandwiches! I make it slightly differently each time depending on what I have to hand that day (it’s very flexible and you can adapt it to fit your own taste), but it goes something like this: chickpeas (smashed, approx. 2 cups) white onion (diced) spring onion (chopped) seaweed (finely chopped, approx 2 sheets) pickles / jalapeños (approx. 1/3 cup) plant-based mayonnaise (approx. 1 tbsp) lemon juice (1/2 lemon) Mix it all together and you have yourself a nutritious and delicious sandwich filling, salad topping and veggie dip! Et voila.

How To Make VEGAN FRENCH TOAST by plantsforfit !😋🌱 ➖ 👉 In today's post I got for you a amazing and simple VEGAN FRENCH TOAST RECIPE which you can have as a snack or make as a breakfast idea! Even as a dessert this recipe would fit perfectly in my opinion! 😉 ➖ ➡️ Complete INGREDIENTS LIST: 1 mashed up ripe banana added to the milk and stirred together 1/2 TBLSP. maple syrup 1 cup almond milk 1/2 TBLSP. ground cinnamon 1/2 TBLSP. vanilla extract 4-5 slices bread (it's important to use a rustic bread or it can turn out too soft) P. S. If you need a more sticky consistency to dip the slices, add some chia seeds, which you have soaken before for around 15 minutes, to the mixture to add a more firm consistency! ➖ 🔥HOW TO: Mix all ingredients except the bread in a large bowl. Preheat pan to medium heat and grease with 1 Tbsp vegan butter or coconut oil. Dip each slice of bread in the batter for about 20 seconds on each side. If your bread is dry, leave it in a little longer. If you're using sandwich bread, it should only need around 30 seconds total to soak. Place the slices on the pan and cook until golden brown on the underside. Carefully flip and cook until the other side is golden brown as well 3-4 minutes. And there you have it, pretty simple VEGAN FRENCH TOAST! Also feel free to add some toppings like sliced bananas or caramelized apples as well as the maple syrup on top of your French toast! 🙌🌱

5-ingredient chocolate mousse magnums by panaceas_pantry 🍦😋. The filling is refined sugar free- but then I went and dipped them into vegan white chocolate. A delicious choice, no doubt- but one that is totally optional. If you wanna stick with the low sugar theme, dip them into at least 70% dark choc, and drizzle with Loving Earth caramel chocolate for that extra sexy drizzle (as pictured). . You’ll need 2 cups raw cashews, soaked 4 hours 1/2 cup best-quality cacao powder 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 1/3 cups coconut milk 1-3 Tbsp pure maple syrup Pinch salt Totally optional extras- 2 tsp adaptogens (like your fav medicinal mushrooms), maca or cacao nibs . Method. . 1. Drain cashews, rinse well. Set in a high-speed blender with remaining ingredients (start with less maple, if desired) and blend until silky smooth. Taste, and add extra maple, to suit your preference. Divide between silicone magnum moulds (this made 5, for me), then insert popsicle sticks. Freeze for 3 + hours. To make chocolate coating 200 grams preferred chocolate (I used vegan white, you could use anything) 1 tsp coconut oil Optional- 20g loving earth caramel chocolate . Method 1. Place the 200g chocolate and coconut oil in a heat proof bowl, and set over a pot of just simmering water. Melt slowly, then remove from heat and allow to cool (and thicken) for 5 minutes. 2. Remove magnums from the freezer and their moulds. Line a tray with baking paper. Dip each magnum into the melted chocolate, and set on the baking paper. Add optional caramel drizzle, then set in the fridge or freezer until chocolate is hard. 3. You can store these in the freezer (in an airtight container) and eat as ice creams (allow 5 mins to defrost) or fridge (airtight container) to enjoy as a mousse-style magnum ;highly recommended 🤤) 🥰🥰 . Note: I made these with minimal maple syrup, as the vegan chocolate provided all the sweetness necessary. You may want to think about how sweet your chocolate coating is, to decide how much maple you want to add

Let me know if you try it out! ⠀ ________________________________________ ⠀ Serves: 12 Calories 517 Protein 1g | Carbs 52g | Fat 35g ⠀ Ingredients For the base: •3 Packets of Original oreo •100g Dairy Free Butter (I used Vitalite) ⠀ For the filling: •800g Dairy Free Cream Cheese (I Used violife_foods *or use any other coconut based, but NOT soya) •½ Packet of Original oreo crushed up •1 Vanilla Pod ⠀ For the topping: •½ Packet of Original oreo crushed up •Dairy Free Chocolate (I used nomochocolate Chocolate) •50ml Dairy Free Cream (Oatly *I couldn’t find a coconut based DF cream other wise I would of used that instead) ⠀ ________________________________________ Method 1. Pull apart each Oreo biscuit, scraping off the filling into a bowl and adding the biscuit section to the food processor. ⠀ 2. Whizz the biscuits to a fine crumb in the food processor (or stick them in a sandwich bag and crush up with a rolling pin if you haven’t got a food processor) and add them into a mixing bowl. ⠀ 3. Add the melted butter and give it a good stir to make sure that all the biscuit is nicely coated then pour into the cake tin and press down gently and evenly to make your base. Level with the back of a spoon and place in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up. ⠀ 4. Beat the cream cheese and sugar together. Add the vanilla pod, cream filling from the Oreos and the crushed up Oreos and mix together thoroughly. Spoon into the cake tin, level off and then place it into the freezer for at least 3 hours to set. ⠀ 5. 🧁 A new tradition 🧁 As I’ve mentioned in several of my previous posts, Linc has super bad reflux. In addition to putting him on some medicine that has helped I decided to go dairy free. If it helps him even a little, I’ll be glad I did it for him! I’m not perfect but I have cut back about 95% of dairy. . 🇬🇧 I started drinking plant based milk a few years ago as an alternative to cow milk, and it’s now the only type of milk I consume. I started by buying the commercial ones, but learning how most of them are made (I was paying 3£ per litre for the most recommended organic almond milk, and there was only 1% of almonds in it...😒) made me learn how to create my own, therefore I cannot buy the ones in stores anymore 🙅🏿‍♂ Making it yourself is often much healthier and cheaper than commercial ones. CLEAN AND LEAN GREEN SOUP (GF) (V) | it's that time of year! Not just for the leaves starting to change...but, the tickles in the throat, stuffy noses, and itchy eyes. This is my go to soup - easy, nutritious, and freezes so well! The best part is that you can tweak it so many ways and it comes out great each time! You will need: (approx) 2 medium brocolli crowns (cleaned/chopped), 1 small onion or half medium onion (chopped), 1 medium/large zucchini chopped, 2-3 cups spinach +/or kale, 1 32oz container of veggie broth, lemon juice, powdered garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, turmeric, EVOO or coconut oil, and nutritional yeast. ALSO: immersion blender or large heavy duty blender, large pot with lid. I start by sauteeing the onion with a tablespoon of oil until slightly translucent. Begin to add broccoli florets, spices (hold off on the nooch), and half container of broth and stir while they start to soften. Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra health benefits! Begin to add zucchini and add more broth. Once it continues to soften, I add the kale and spinach. Add more broth but save last 1/4 of broth for end to obtain desired consistency (you can always add broth/water if it's too thick). It WILL look like a lot! Stir and once boiling, cover and simmer on low for about 10-15 minutes until veggies fall apart at touch. Remove from heat. If using an immersion blender, add some nooch and blend until desired consistency. If using regular blender, allow to cool and then blend in batches. Feel free to add more spices (I start with about 1/4 tsp of everything and add on at the end). You can always experiment with adding veggies such as sliced carrots or canned white beans or diced potatoes! Be creative...add rosemary or chili powder! I've frozen this up to 6 months in my freezer. Keeps for about a week in the fridge. Enjoy 😘🥦🥕🍽🥣
