OVERNIGHT OATS, uno de mis típicos desayunos que cargo en mi ballofficial todas las mañanas al trabajo. Toma max 5 minutos en preparar y siempre lo preparo con cosas que tengo en mi despensa, nothing extra pero queda 💯. - - 🌚 Para el overnight oats mezcla ½ taza de avena sg bobsredmillmexico (o ¼ taza de avena sg + ¼ taza de linaza molida si quieres menos carbs y más fats) +  ¼ cdita canela + puño de mix de nueces y semillas (me gusta con pistaches, walnuts y pepitas) en un jar. Agrega ½ taza leche vegana (yo usé de coco licuada con 2 dátiles) + ¼ taza yogurt de coco cirueloproductosorganicos + 1 cdota almond butter mezcla hasta que esté bien revuelto. Al final, agrega papaya en cuadritos y semillas hemp organicosmonterrey. Deja reposar en la noche o por lo menos 4 horas en el refri. They closed for a revamp earlier in the year and when they finally reopened I finally booked a table into this hotdog and champagne spot. Shorty’s Veggie Hotdog / 10 🌭 🌭 This hotdog is described as having a hot giardiniera mix, caramelised onions, jalapenos & cheese sauce. Unfortunately I found that the onions did not exist. There was a lack of jalapeños and had not been flavoured or seasoned. The cheesy sauce was lacking taste and was cold. The giardiniera mix was red and green peppers thrown on top also cold and fresh so added no taste. Overall the veggie hotdog was dry, cold and disappointing. I did not finish it! Tater tots / 4.5 🥔🥔🥔 This was the saver of the night. We ordered tater tots which were crispy but soft inside. Seasoned well. We ordered a second plate to save us from the hotdog Popcorn Ice Cream / 5 🍦🍦🍦 This popcorn was provided to us free as a sorry for the hotdogs and well it was just as bad as the hotdogs unfortunately. It was the first time I left ice cream unfinished! This place was another of the year which I had high expectations and they fell short majorly. My friend had been before the revamp and thought the food was better before and the previous decor. I personally felt this place has been over rated and lacked substance. The price tag is steep for something I could do at home. Pancakes aren’t just for Sunday’s.. . . I remember a time in the past when I would only allow myself pancakes on the weekend - bare in mind, these were still “healthy” pancakes made from banana, egg, protein etc. But back then, I used to view certain foods as ‘good’ and ‘bad’. Basically, anything that wasn’t a salad or chicken and broccoli was ‘bad’ to me. Such a disordered mindset. 🤦🏼‍♀️ . . Today, I’ve completely changed my view of and relationship with food. To me now, ‘food’ is just that - FOOD. I have removed the labels around food, I have removed food rules and therefore I’ve removed the scarcity mindset that certain foods can only be eaten at certain times. . . While some foods may simply be more ‘nutritious’ than others; no food is inherently ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Take water for example. Water, which is seen to be the healthiest food/beverage on the planet can cause you harm if you consume too much - you will drown and die. notgood . . So if you still hold the belief that pancakes can only be eaten on Sunday; or you can only eat pizza and burgers on the weekends; or you can only eat Christmas treats on Christmas day and Christmas day only; LET THESE BELIEFS GO. Remove the judgement and rules around food. When you free yourself of the diet mentality, food no longer holds power over you. Roasted truffle purple potatoes with bell peppers, hummus, a farro and sweet potato salad and a sprouted whole grain tortilla. This meal was created entirely of leftovers, which meant no cooking for me 🎉. ~ Tips for meal prep on a plant based diet: when cooking meals, I double or triple the recipe. I keep some leftovers in the fridge to eat throughout the week and freeze the rest. For freezing, either pre-package complete meals, or freeze into separate containers! On busy weeknights, I’m so thankful I remember I have some frozen grains or veggies in the freezer to use on demand! Chowder This one is smoked herring and wild caught cod. Easy to make, will warm your boots!! Bacon 3 sliced chopped Onions 1 med chopped garlic 2 chopped Celery 3-4 chopped Carrots 3 chopped Potato or sweet potato 1 large or 2 med peel and cube Stock: veg or chicken, about 4-5 c 3/4 cup soaked and puréed cashews (so they are a creamy paste) or you can use 1/2 to 3/4 can full fat coconut milk if allergic to nuts. Will just not be as thick. Salt, pepper 1/2 lemon juice 1 can smoked herring, drained 1/2 to 3/4 pound cod, cut into cubes . . Sautée bacon in soup pot until crisp but not burned and remove and set aside. Using bacon fat add all veggies and sautée stirring over med heat. When onions translucent add in stock and simmer med-low until potatoes cooked through. With heat low add in cod and herring: stir gently and allow cod to cook. Then add cashew cream or coconut milk and season, squeeze lemon. When serving, sprinkle bacon on top. No need to over cook! Just make sure potatoes are done and then the cod. Makes a great one-pot meal with low mess factor (only one pot to clean!!) . . ❤️always cook with love ❤️

Si me hubiera levantado un poquito más americana, te diría que te traigo un "wonderfull carrot cake, con relleno de cashew nut y decorado con melted chocolate", pero no...yo soy muy de aquí, madrileña para más señas, y lo que tengo para enseñarte es un bizcocho de zanahoria, relleno con una crema de anacardos y decorado con chocolate fundido, que te chupas los dedos! 😂😂😂 La receta del bizcocho es de Iván, de nutricion_esencial, con alguna variante, entre otras cosas porque él estaba haciendo magdalenas, y ya los tiempos de horno cambian. Gracias Iván!!! El relleno es tan simple como delicioso, una crema que consigues batiendo anacardos y dátiles (remojados previamente en agua caliente), con un poco de canela. Para la cobertura, chocolate negro fundido al baño maría, con un poco de manteca de cacao y chorrito de esencia de vainilla. ¡No te digo más!!! Sinceramente, no sé a qué estás esperando para meterte en la cocina. 😂😂😂

Nouvelle recette dans mon maho.nabe 🤗 . J’ai préparé un risotto aux crevettes et petits pois 🥰 . Pour la recette : - Faire revenir de l’ail avec de l’huile d’olive dans la cocotte - 150g de riz à risotto - 100g de crevettes cuites - 750ml de bouillon de légumes - 2 càs de crème liquide - sel/poivre . Ajoutez le riz dans la cocotte, faited revenir dans l’huile et l’ail pendant quelques minutes Ajoutez le bouillon au fur et à mesure, tout en remuant. Une fois que le bouillon a été absorbé par le riz ( moi c’était après 25/30mins ) Ajoutez les crevettes et les petits pois congelés, laisser cuire pendant 10/15mins, pour le temps de cuisson ça dépend du riz utilisé . Ajoutez la crème, le sel et le poivre. . J’ai ajouté des noisettes pour le dressage :) . Belle journée à vous 😍 . 🇫🇷Butternut et potimarron 🥕 . Recette avec le maho.nabe ( produit offert ), une cocotte japonaise. Un design magnifique mais c’est plus que ça, mis au centre de la table, il continue de chauffer et de conserver la chaleur après avoir été retiré des plaques de cuisson. . Pour réaliser ce velouté : - 1 butternut - 1/2 potimarron - 1 carotte jaune - 3 cuillères à soupe de crème liquide - paprika, sel, poivre ( les quantités c’est selon vos préférences :) + ou - c’est vous qui choisissez ♡) . Faites revenir de l’ail et de l’huile d’olive dans le Maho Nabé. Ajouter vos légumes coupés et de l’eau pour les recouvrir. Laisser cuivre pendant 30mins à feux moyen. Remuer de temps à autre. Une fois les légumes cuits, mixer les et voilà c’est prêt 😍 UN DÉLICE! Parfait pour ce temps 💛 . 🇺🇸Butternut soup 🥰🥰🥰 . Mes recettes préférées avec peu ou pas d’huile, pour le moment ( parce qu’il y a tellement de possibilités et de recettes disponibles, sur l’appli notamment quand vous êtes en manque d’inspiration, tout est expliqué pas à pas et vous pouvez même connecter votre appareil :)) . FRITES DE PATATE DOUCE : ( la vieeeee 😍) - Couper votre patate en frites - Utiliser une demi cuillère ( disponible avec l’actifry) d’huile et des herbes de provence et mélangez bien :) - Ajoutez vos frites dans l’appareil et utiliser le mode 1. Tout est indiqué et programmé ensuite, vous n’avez qu’à lancer l’appareil. Car oui cette appareil est d’un pratique, il comporte 9 programmes différents!!! Vous pouvez faire tellement de choses avec un seul appareil c’est fou 😍 . Non, je ne mange pas d’avocat tous les jours.. loin de là! Mais dès que j’en consomme il est rentabilisé au possible, 1 avocat = 2 recettes et beaucouuuup de photos 💚😍 . Manger sain est propre à chacun on a pas tous les mêmes besoins, mangez ce qui vous rend bien, dans tous les sens du terme, ce qui est bon pour vous 💚 Vous ne devez pas suivre à la lettre ce que vous voyez sur les réseaux, vous faites le tri, prenez ce qui vous convient, de pleins d’endroits différents et créez votre propre « recette » du healthy 💚 .
