Brown Sugar Banana 🍌 Overnight Oats - why I make & like overnight oats? Takes about 5 seconds (10 if you’re not a pro) to make. I normally make these if I’m short on time to meal prep or need a quick breakfast for the morning (or makes a great snack too) & I normally always have ingredients in my pantry & fridge for it. •1/2 cup oats •1/2 cup preferred milk (I used almond) •1/2-1 clicked banana •1tbsp peanut butter (or like 5 if you’re crazy about PB like me) •1tsp chia seeds •2tsp brown sugar •sprinkle cinnamon Throw ingredients in a tupperware container and call breakfast made. >>>Tip: might need more milk if you like your oats mushy or add yogurt/greek yogurt for more calories & protein.

I look forward to it + this higher carb meal/snack aligns well with the physical activity I do on wednesdays👌🏼 For me, this is #intuitiveeating - I enjoy something I love but also use my nutrition knowledge to enjoy treats responsibly instead of ‘every time I crave it’. 👇👇 If you’re a cereal lover and frequently use it as an easy meal/snack here are my tips:👇👇👇 1 - use milk with some FAT content so your blood sugar doesn’t rise as quickly. 2 - Measure your cereal. Have some awareness about what you’re eating. You don’t NEED to stick to the serving listed on the box but don’t be naive to how many of those servings you’re having. 3 - PROTEIN ! Maybe that’s an egg on the side, or eating your cereal in Greek yogurt, or my personal fav - using protein rich @fairlife milk.
