‼️ UPDATE ‼️ I am so sorry that I haven’t been on! Not to sound dramatic or anything but I have had the worst past week ever! Basically my phone fell out of my pocket onto a concrete floor and completely smashed and died so I have been completely phone less and unable to do anything - isn’t it crazy how reliant we are on these damn things?! Anyway I’m living on a station which is a 13 hour drive away from the nearest Apple store!!! So that wasn’t going to work but luckily my boss drove 3 hours to the nearest town and somebody managed to fix it for me 🎉 it’s not an amazing job and colour and brightness doesn’t show on my screen very well anymore BUT ATLEAST IT WORKS! So as an (unnecessary) experiment I’ve decided every-morning I will be taking a freezing cold shower- there are suggested to be many health and physical benefits to doing so, some seem slightly more promising than others, but I figured it can’t hurt. (Cold showers do NOT cause fat loss, just throwing it out there that’s completely false- only a negative energy balance can do that.) This morning I lasted 40 seconds, hopefully by the end of the 4 weeks I’ll be able to last a tad longer 😂 have a fab Thursday 🐝 also I’m not recommending anyone else to try this🐝

🔥Snacks to build muscle 🔥 . Do you snack throughout the day? While there is some sort of hate towards snacking (be side it makes you fat apparently), I think snacking is not only fine but actually more beneficial than avoiding it for most people especially when looking to get lean, fit, and healthy. It stabilizes blood sugar levels while also allowing a constant and continuous influx of nutrients and fuel into your body throughout the day, making it easier on your digestive system to work effectively and efficiently while maintaining a good energy level. When it comes to building muscle, some of these snacks may need to be a bit more calorically-dense, but that doesn't mean pop tarts, donuts, cookies, and trash protein bars (not all are trash, but most). Here are some snacks I like to have: banana and peanut butter on toast (not only is it high in calories, carbs, fats, and protein, but there is almost no better combo than PB and banana, let's just lay that where it may), smoothies (I like to add bananas and dates along with protein and some chia seeds to up the calories and micronutrient content), apple and cashews (don't neglect getting in those healthy fats, but also fruit does not make you fat no matter what nonsense someone told you. If so...I'd be a whale), proats (a high carb and high protein meal that I think is best suited post-workout), homemade energy balls (because they are a little bit of a dessert let alone are very calorically-dense especially when made with a peanut butter and date base), and chia pudding (super high in healthy fats and protein, both required to build muscle). . Hallo Tagebuch! - Gestern war ein scheiß Tag. Und ich dachte mir so:,, Heyyy, es kann doch eh nicht mehr schlimmer kommen, also geh ich einfach zur Geburtstagsparty..." Ich war seit Jahren nicht mehr auf einer Party/Feier, oder was auch immer... - Naja, ich habe mich getäuscht. Es kam noch schlimmer. Ich kannte kaum jemanden, fühlte mich mega unwohl, und wollte einfach nur im Erdboden versinken. Aber ich hab mich gezwungen zu bleiben, denn ich dachte, dass es daheim nicht besser werden würde. Aber guuut. Nach einer Weile, als alle schon etwas angetrunken waren, haben wir angefangen richtig viel zu essen. Später zog dann ein Gewitter auf (wir waren am See an einer Grillstelle), wir packten die Sachen zusammen und liefen zur Freundin im Dunkeln und teilweise sturz besoffen, nach Hause. Dort ging die Fresserei und trinkerei dann erst so richtig los. Ich dachte mir nur noch so:,, Es ist eh alles vorbei, ich will sowieso sterben, da kann ich mich ja grad so richtig gehen lassen..." Nach und nach kam ich dann doch auch ins Gespräch mit den anderen, einfach weil alles lockerer war und ich meine soziale Phobie so gut wie vergaß. Nach ca. 8 Stück Kuchen, 3 Semmel, 3 Würstchen, Marshmallows, Chips, 1,5 L Orangensaft und Wassermelone ging ich dann auch irgendwann gegen halb 3 nach Hause. Wäre auf der leeren Straße ein Auto vorbeigefahren, hätte ich mir ernsthaft überlegt, vor das Auto zu springen. Daheim angekommen ging ich nicht ins Bett, sondern schlich mich in die Küche, stürzte mich zum Kühlschrank und zum Vorratsschrank... und stopfte weiter alles in mich rein. Marmelade-/Nutella-/Käsebrote, alle Packungen Kekse, Chips, Milch, ... Als ich mich vor Schmerzen und Übelkeit kaum noch bewegen konnte, schleppte ich mich mit aller Mühe und schweißgebadet zur Couch. Dort schlief ich dann gegen 4 Uhr, als die Schmerzen etwas nachließen, ein. 5 Uhr wachte ich auf, ging erneut in die Küche aß weiter, und verzog mich diesmal in meinem Zimmer im Bett. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Crumpets as part of breakfast. My challenge this week isn’t going very well to be truthful. Weekends I manage a decent lunch but breakfast isn’t great. Work days breakfast is a bit better but lunch isn’t enough. Either way my snacks are still like equivalent to my meals... Personal challenge: getting enough water in . Some positive habits are easier for people to pick up than others, and everyone experiences bigger challenges with implementing certain healthy habits. . In my case, nutrition comes pretty easily, but drinking enough water does not. I swear I'm actually part 🌵! Before I started working on it, I could easily go through the day having drank about 500mL of water in total. . I have since been working on changing my ways because I know better. Getting enough water: 🤸♂️Helps maximize physical performance (especially with high-intensity exercise, like Crossfit, and/or high heat) 🤯 Helps maintain energy levels and focus throughout the day 💩Helps maintain regular digestion (low water consumption is a risk factor for constipation) 🦉Can help with weight loss (water can increase satiety, especially if consumed outside of meal times) . Not sure how you are drinking enough? Shoot for your bodyweight (in lbs) divided by 2; this gives you a target in fluid oz (remember that there are 32oz in a litre, and tada! Math.) If you exercise intensely, don't count the water you consume during your workout. For a 150lb person, this means aiming to consume 75oz of water outside of their workout daily, or roughly 2.25L. . My tips to get to H2-NO to H2-hoe (sorry guys, I just had to): ⏰ Get started early in the day - start your morning with a large glass of water. 🍵 Warm (caffeine-free) beverages count, too! Keep a mug of peppermint tea at your desk. 🍾 Bring on the bubbles! Carbonnated, unsweetened water counts, too. Just be aware that some people experience bloating because of the fizziness if they consume large quantities of fizzy water. 👩💻 Set a reminder on your phone! I personally have daily reminder on my phone that tell me to finish my water bottle 3x/day.

🔥Snacks to build muscle 🔥 . Follow @dancudes ! . Do you snack throughout the day? While there is some sort of hate towards snacking (be side it makes you fat apparently), I think snacking is not only fine but actually more beneficial than avoiding it for most people especially when looking to get lean, fit, and healthy. It stabilizes blood sugar levels while also allowing a constant and continuous influx of nutrients and fuel into your body throughout the day, making it easier on your digestive system to work effectively and efficiently while maintaining a good energy level. When it comes to building muscle, some of these snacks may need to be a bit more calorically-dense, but that doesn't mean pop tarts, donuts, cookies, and trash protein bars (not all are trash, but most). Here are some snacks I like to have: banana and peanut butter on toast (not only is it high in calories, carbs, fats, and protein, but there is almost no better combo than PB and banana, let's just lay that where it may), smoothies (I like to add bananas and dates along with protein and some chia seeds to up the calories and micronutrient content), apple and cashews (don't neglect getting in those healthy fats, but also fruit does not make you fat no matter what nonsense someone told you. If so...I'd be a whale), proats (a high carb and high protein meal that I think is best suited post-workout), homemade energy balls (because they are a little bit of a dessert let alone are very calorically-dense especially when made with a peanut butter and date base), and chia pudding (super high in healthy fats and protein, both required to build muscle).
