Two simple words that can be really HARD. Honestly I’ve been in a little bit of a funk lately and when that happens my first inclination is just to pull back.. cancel commitments, take some time for myself, reevaluate, etc. But you know what? Sometimes that’s not possible and instead of making excuses for myself I know I just need to SHOW UP.
I need to “keep on keeping on” and push through it. After all, that’s when breakthrough happens, right? The last month I’ve wanted to quit. Not just one thing, but a few. 😬
I remembered my 2018 word, “FOLLOW THROUGH” and I recalled my promises to myself about my physical health, my relationships, my business, and I know it’s all worth it to push through the HARD even when things don’t “feel good.” It’s not about being perfect or checking lofty goals off of the list, it’s about keeping my word, being reliable, being consistent and having GRIT. It’s not sexy, but it’s really where the magic happens. 😉
So... if you’re struggling today, I encourage you to show up and keep showing up day after day. Keep your commitments to yourself and others and stick with your daily habits and it will all pay off in the end, I promise! ☀️
