My top 4️⃣ tips for staying on track during the holidays🎅🎅🎅⁣ ⁣⁣ Ok, so I know it’s the holiday season guys but also don’t forget that Christmas is literally only 1️⃣ day... so don’t throw all your hard work away over it! ⁣ ⁣ Keep consistent and keep working ✅⁣ ⁣ Here’s my top tips on how to navigate the holidays and holiday events 👇🏻⁣ ⁣⁣ 1️⃣ Don’t avoid eating all day so you can indulge when you go out as this is a sure way to end up going way overboard because you will be starving! If you know you have an event that will involve a lot of temptation make sure that prior to you stick with foods that are high protein and fibrous veggies that will keep you feeling full! Save most of your carbs and fats for the day for your evening out. I suggest making sure you have eaten at least 80% of your protein goal for the day prior to going out.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2️⃣ Exercise moderation! Watch your portion sizes so you don’t completely overdo it. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3️⃣ Make smarter choices! Instead of a sugar-filled drink opt for a lower calorie cooler or a hard liquor with a zero calorie mix (like a vodka, soda water with a splash of lime, gin and tonic, or rye with diet pepsi). While I am not going to tell you not to drink at all if you can reduce the amount of empty calories consumed with your drinks you’ll be much better off.
