Chun shui tang still makes the best bubble tea. The milk tea part is just so good. One thing that Taiwanese tea shops do that I don’t see elsewhere is they usually shake their tea. Some do it like a bartender’s shaker, some have an automatic shaking machine, others blitz the tea for a short time with crushed ice in a blender. The second thing they do, is really highlight the tea. It’s not masked by weird vanilla flavors. But one thing they (Chun Shi tang and Han Lin do this afaik) started doing that really sucks is using paper straws. First the straw imparts a paper taste, second after like 10 mins the paper is already caved in, third it’s totally unusable if you have bubbles. The straw won’t uptake the bubbles anymore. In the end I can extend the life of the straw by removing it entirely when not drinking. While the environmental friendliness is commendable, I think the fact that they use a glass mug and not a plastic cup with sealing lid should already earn them credit. Cheaper bubble tea stores, including nightmarket bubble tea still remain all plastic. Need to find a better alternative. Zucchini & Broccoli Pesto Fritters🍃These fiber filled fritters are the perfect way to use up some extra veggies you may have lying around in the fridge 😋I prepped these as a little snack for us today and paired them with an easy lemon yogurt sauce 🍋 Recipe: 2 cups broccoli 1 medium zucchini 1 egg 1/4 cup oat flour 1 tbsp dairy-free pesto 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1-2 tbsp avocado oil Sauce: 2 tbsp greek yogurt 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp dried parsley Salt & pepper to taste Pulse the broccoli and zucchini in a food processor until fine. Mix together with remaining ingredients except the oil. Heat a cast iron skillet with the avocado oil. Pour 2 tbsp worth of the batter and flatten out on the skillet. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes.

Butter Chicken SERVES 4 to 6 PREP TIME: 10-15 minutes COOKING TIME: 20-25 minutes 📷 & Recipe by @ thekitchn.com . INGREDIENTS 1 med yellow onion 3 cloves garlic 1 (1-inch) piece fresh ginger 1 TBD plus 1 tsp garam masala, divided 1/2 tsp plus 1/4 tsp ground turmeric, divided 3/4 tsp plus 1/2 tsp ground cumin, divided Pinch cayenne pepper (optional) 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 6 TBS unsalted butter, divided 1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick 1 TBS tomato paste 1 (16-oz) can tomato sauce 1 1/4 cups water 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 TBS freshly squeezed lemon juice 2 TBS chopped fresh cilantro Cooked basmati rice or naan, for serving . INSTRUCTIONS Finely chop 1 med yellow onion, grate 3 garlic cloves, peel & grate a 1" piece of ginger; place it all in a med bowl. Combine 1 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp ground turmeric, and 1/2 tsp ground cumin in a large bowl. Combine 1 TBS garam masala, 1/2 tsp ground turmeric, 3/4 tsp ground cumin, & a pinch of cayenne pepper if desired in a sm bowl & set aside. Cut 2 lbs chicken into 1" pieces, add to the spices in large bowl, season with kosher salt & black pepper, & toss to evenly coat. Melt 4 TBS unsalted butter in a lg heavy-bottomed pot over med-high heat. Add the chicken & cook until browned on all sides, about 7- 8 min. Transfer the chicken to a plate; it might not be cooked through. Add the onion mixture to the pan and cook, stirring frequently, until beginning to soften, about 2 min. Add the reserved spices, 1 (3") cinnamon stick, and 1 TBS tomato paste, & cook 1 min more. Add the can of tomato sauce, 1 1/4 cups water, & the chicken and any accumulated juices, and stir to combine. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to maintain a simmer and cook until the sauce slightly thickens & chicken is cooked through, 8- 10 min. Meanwhile, chop 2 TBS cilantro. Add 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 TBS unsalted butter, & 1 TBS lemon juice to the chicken, & stir to combine. Taste & season with salt as needed. Garnish with cilantro & serve over basmati rice or with naan. RECIPE NOTES Storage: Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 4 days. GetFit2StayHealthy

6 minute salmon tonight 🙌🏻 Constantly on repeat over here because it’s super simple + one of my favorites taste wise 😎 Comes together fast and it pairs well with lots of different foods! Post run I make a little snack that contains protein and carbs to repair muscle and replenish energy stores which helps me recover more quickly for my next run. I wasn't always good about the timing or eating in that 20 min window after a workout. momlife I like eating real food over a sports bar but the tricky bit is you have to plan ahead. __ Over the last year and a half running ultras I've been better at planning and fueling. One of my quick go-to's... Simple Sprouted Grain Toast. whole30approved version of a burger and fries today! 🍔🍟 I’m not doing Whole 30, but my mom is this month and she sent me this chicken burger recipe by unboundwellness to make for us. I had actually already pinned it on Pinterest awhile back and had been wanting to try it, so it was the perfect time to make it! Paired it with some easy sweet potato oven “fries” 😋 it all turned out great and I will definitely be making again 😍 and I’m so glad that I have leftovers too—nothing better than having healthy food prepped and ready to go 👌🏼 hope you’re all having a great week so far! Made another Mexican bowl but who is surprised???? I can’t help myself lol. BUT I did change it up some. My favorite part about cooking is how you can get creative with flavors and add or change things in recipes so you don’t feel like you’re eating the same thing every time. - I seasoned both the shrimp and rice with chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder and salt. The shrimp took literally 3 mins to cook and we all know a quick and easy meal makes for a happy eater😜 Then I added some guacamole I made along with some mushrooms! Super yum!!

Tomates "Cagones" del Hierro🍅 Esta variedad de tomate es típica de la Isla del Meridiano, el Hierro. Isla de mis raíces y donde afortunadamente crecí con esta maravilla de la naturaleza. Si eres afortunado de visitar la Isla más occidental de las Canarias, y tienes la suerte de poder degustarlos, no lo dudes, un manjar que nos oferta la naturaleza, y que forma parte de la cultura herreña, de su gastronomía y mis raíces. Inspiration, motivation, accountability...and new kitchen appliances ..some of the upsides of Instagram😬✨ Maybe not the prettiest pic of last nights dinner but it was VERY yummy ...INSTANT POT orange chicken, with brown rice and arugula salad, prepped quickly and easily, thanks to melissas_healthykitchen , one of my fave accounts for meal prep ideas, easy recipes and healthy living in general. I tweaked the recipe a bit because I was missing a few ingredients but it was still 👌😋 After seeing Melissa’s dinner last night I’ve now got an air fryer on my wish list...maybe someone should let the family know! This is a great and easy route to a beautiful delicious weeknight meal. With short prepping and cooking time you’ll be home free in a jiffy with leftovers to spare. Nothing not to like here. You can⁣ follow our recipe and cook a full chicken cut in parts or use any of your favorite parts of the bird: breasts, legs, thighs. We used a whole pasture raised chicken and left the skin on (yes guilty as charged!). It is for effect OK?...Because⁣ Chicken looks more beautiful with the skin on! A simple olive oil, vinegar (any⁣ variety you like) lemon juice and herbs marinade that can be a short as 30⁣ minutes. Literally you can use any herb you please. We used oregano and it is a⁣ great herb to pair with lemon but anything will go. Place in the rack and into the oven it goes. A powerful load of protein, vitamins and minerals from your⁣ beautiful bird and if you serve with a simple salad or grilled veggies you will⁣ have a complete meal and you are done for the evening.⁣ Broiled Lemon Chicken ⁣ Ingredients:⁣ • 2 teaspoon salt⁣ • 2 teaspoon pepper⁣ • 1 Tbsp chopped parsley⁣ • 2 teaspoon chopped oregano ( dry or fresh)⁣ • 1/2 cup olive oil⁣ • Juice of 2 lemons⁣ • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar⁣ • 2 Tbsp soy sauce⁣ • 4 garlic cloves finely chopped⁣ • 1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces, skin on⁣ Preparation:⁣ In a large bowl combine all ingredients above except chicken, mix well. Leave half of the mixture to the⁣ side. To another half of mixture add chicken, mix, and marinade in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.⁣ Preheat broiler. Remove the chicken and broil 30 minutes on the lowest oven rack until first side is⁣ brown. Turn and broil 20 minutes until brown and cooked trough. Transfer to the platter, and while is still⁣ hot, pour remaining mixture over the chicken. Enjoy!

Bolonhesa de Lentilhas e Esparguete sem Glúten 🌿👇🏻 . O almoço foi de ontem para mim e para ele, mas esqueci-me de partilhar 😅 e engraçado que bateu certo com a receita do setembrosemcarne movimento que decorre durante o mês de setembro e tem como objetivo sensibilizar o maior número de pessoas possível para o que se passa no mundo e levá-las a tomar alguma medida que possa ter um impacto positivo no mundo, sem extremismos e com muita ajuda e motivação de pessoas da área da alimentação pelas quais nutro uma grande admiração. Experimentem pelo menos uma receita, deem o beneficio da dúvida. O que têm a a perder? A vossa saúde, bem-estar e o planeta ganham 💚 Quanto à bolonhesa, é uma das receitas que mais faço para recheios ou simplesmente assim com massa e adapto aos legumes que tenho. Para esta é só refogar em azeite, cebola e alho, depois de alourada juntar cravinho, pimentão fumado e pimenta cayenne. Juntar os cogumelos e deixar refogar, adicionar a cenoura e água e deixar cozinhar. Por fim com tudo cozinhado passei a varinha grosseiramente e adicionei as lentilhas e o sal. Deixar cozinhar por 10min. Servi com esparguete sem glúten, oregãos e nozes picadas. Um ótimo fim de semana 🧡
