I’m hoping my message got through today - home workouts are for everyone and anyone. We ALL modify!!! Old, young, male, female, tall, short, big, small, fit, unfit, fast, slow!!! IT DOES NOT MATTER! I’m more comfortable in my skin than I’ve ever been. Yes I look strong now but....I wasn’t 10 months ago. 10 months ago I was just like you. Watching someone show up on Instagram every day come what may! But in the New Year I took action - the trigger being my husband debilitating back injury. Working out was my medicine and now it’s so ingrained I’d need medication if I didn’t workout. I started with yoga, then a 21 day workout, then a 6 week programme - I’d never stuck to something for 6 weeks before (NEVER) and now I’m on day 72/100!!! You see, every day you get a little more flexible, a little more confident, a little faster, a little stronger. Sleep improves, anxiety drops, happiness boosts and energy levels rise! That’s before you step on the scales or drop a dress size! Your goals are your goals but promise me one thing. You won’t watch me for 12 months thinking I could never do that! Football food = nachos! This is a staple in my home. I know, I'm like a broken record with some of my recipes but they're so good! This is my lowest point version, made with ground chicken breast and fat free refried beans. The only points are in the low fat Mexican cheese (3 smartpoints). So, after debating it for a week now, I decided to let myself have as fun last night and have a cheat meal. My good friend hosted an incredible Rocky Horror Picture Show party! She turned her garage into a theater and has an incredible interactive viewing. . I drank, I ate, and I smacked myself in the face trying to learn poi in the dark 😂 . It was a good time and I regret nothing! Before I started this journey, I accepted that I am human. I will make mistakes, I will take steps back, but I will always move forward. I will not deny myself fun because of an ideal image of myself I have in my head. The scale certainly didn't look as good as I wanted it to this morning, but I know it'll go right back down now that I'm on track. Most of us have a difficult time distinguishing the difference between physical hunger and emotional hunger. 😖 . No matter how much we try to respect our physical hunger, our daily trails and tribulations cloud our judgement and we console our emotional hunger in an attempt to feel better in the moment. No matter what your fitness journey is, this kind of behaviour creates a barrier that only self-consciousness can break. We need to be kind and mindful, and ask ourselves "Why?" . Why are you behaving in this particular way? Why is it that you 'need' to get a sugary drink and a pastry to distract yourself from feeling the real issue? Why is it that you choose to turn a blind eye to a growing opportunity? Why does facing the real issue scare you? . We, as humans, are multidimensional and so your answer will be multidimensional. Take that first step in asking yourself "why?", allow yourself to dig deep and allow yourself to feel and express the emotions that come with it. 🌿 . It's an uncomfortable process, but once you face the honest-you, you'll be able to lift yourself up to a better version of you. You'll understand what inspires you and what triggers you. Your 'why' turns into 'what' and 'how' and that's when you truly begin your transformation.😌 . And who says you have to go at it alone? I will help you if you choose to be helped. ℹ️ Sunday 📅 Day 14 🤩 A Sunday well spent ... If you know, you know! Sunday’s mean meal prep, and I believe that of you fail to prepare you prepare to fail. With us working our way through the entire contents of our freezer as we have a ridiculous amount of food in there! We had 1KG of mince so I took the opportunity to prepare next weeks lunches as well! I made 8 meals for work and then a meal for our dinner tonight! —————————————————— Monday’s, I don’t have breakfast, I usually fast until around 12:30ish. Lunch: 125g Mince, Peas & Sweetcorn & Cottage Cheese Dessert: Raspberry Jelly & 1/2 Fulfill protein bar 3:30PM: Snack time - Popcorn & Diet Fizzy 7:30PM: Dinner - I think I’ll be having tuna and rice for tea. I like to have a light Monday when I’m not exercising. I like to make the most of my macros, the more I can fit into my macros, the better! It will be more effective long term😉👍🏻 • My goal this week was to do 3 sessions, I decided to use my work break to get a 4th one 🤯 only because I was genuinely excited about the idea of doing anything similar to tennis 🤩 I definitely find weights fun (they do the work), but nothing compares to the feeling of hitting a ball with a racket😍🎾once you find what sets your soul on fire, consistency will be the least of your problems and results will come 😉

Not a sub 30 but really darn close!!! Great race!!! Official race time was 00:30:52 (I forgot to stop my watch right at the end, was busy getting chocolate milk 😋). My dad got me a consolation chocolate bar since I didn’t place in my age group lol. Though it was tough competition and it was a ten year age group of 30-39. So that makes it that much harder than the five year groups. Still really happy with this race. I love supporting the small local ones. Swipe to see details.
