Dynamic lower day. Dont post much on these days since it's just moving moderately heavy weight super fast, but today I messed with a new accessory that was killer. The Bulgarian split squat on the pit shark is next level. 4x8 worked up to 515. Todays workwas 330 plus 175 in bands for 5x5 squats , next was 3 pin deadlift 5x5 330 plus 200 in bands. Then static pulls against pin at 3 spot 330 for 3x3 with 3 sec holds. Did a quick “dancy” glute and hamstring circuit today 🏋🏽‍♀️ 3x12-15reps • • • A1. Smith Machine Hip Thrusts - Main lift of the circuit. It’s a hip dominant exercise. I find that keeping my feet slightly turned out and consistent abducting resistance on the band creates better glute activation through the movement A2. Transverse Glute Flossing(?lol) - I used this move as an anti rotation for rotary stability as well as glute stability A3. Squat to Side Kicks - love these as a burn out in the circuit as well as a little bit of adductor work
