I’ve had a heap of women email me and comment on my posts asking what are the basic pieces of equipment you need at home to get strong and toned.
We have over 500 women in our WinAtLife program, the majority of them mums with kids. Many of them have set up inexpensive home gyms and are getting great results training at home just 3 days per week.
Craig and I also recently set up a home gym as we are getting busier and busier and it’s so easy and convenient to be able to walk downstairs, bang out a session and be done!
Now I think there is a huge misconception around the equipment needed and exercises women should actually be doing to get strong and toned.

I’ve been struggling with my weight lately , I look at my body and I can see the weight I put on. I love stress eating and eating greasy food. I guess there comes a time when you decide when your really ready to make a change. I’m trying. Well I be successful this time , I don’t know but I know I need to get health.
I’m in the city for a few nights for my son so I brought my work out clothing with me. Spent 30 mins on the elliptical and did some other exercises. For supper I had a steak and a salad.
After my work out I toke my son to the vender machine , and I was looking and was thinking hmm what to get and I was like all ready to get cheesys then I was like what am I doing.... I’m glad I caught my self before I bought it, I left with a water. Baby steps are better then no steps.
