A spin-pf from our normal green banana pancakes, today we added extra favour with turmeric and additional sweetener, so they were absolutely delicious just with butter (although I couldn’t resist an occasional dash of a lemon juice and apricot marmalade sauce. For pancakes just make the mixture less thick with some milk or water …today was a pikelet day. . YUM! . RECIPE . Tumeric Green Banana Pancakes | Pikelets . INGREDIENTS 6 Green Bananas 4 large Eggs ! tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Tumeric Late Spice Powder (Tumeric Powder, ground ginger, pinch Cinnamon, Pepper, Vanilla) 1 tsp Vanilla Bean paste or pod 2 tsp low carb sweetener like stevia, xylitol, erythiriol or less of stevia. Ghee for frying . METHOD Peel Bananas and combine all ingredients in blender. For the sweetener this time we used a blend of erythiriol, stevia & Monk Fruit - because it was available in the supermarket. Whizz until smooth and thick. Heat some ghee / coconut oil in pan. Cook batches of in well greased frying pan (approx 1 tablespoon of ghee per batch) as you would normal pancakes. I use ghee - you can choose to use coconut oil if you prefer to avoid ghee, but it does change the depth of flavour

Die letzten Tage vegan 🌱 waren zwischendurch echt schwer. Blöd. Nervig. Aber auch erkenntnisreich. Heute zum Beispiel in der Stadt, mitten in Köln, stand ich da mit sehr viel Lust auf Kuchen. Hoje vou passar aqui para compartilhar uma dica de um lugar muito gostoso que conheci essa semana num almoço delícia que tive com a linda da brunaheerdt. O lugar chama Kale + Coco. kaleandcoco_ie Já pode clicar para salvar esse post porque acredite em mim a dica é muito boa. Começo dizendo que o lugar é um charme e super aconchegante. Foi o primeiro restaurante vegano que fui aqui em Dublin e te falar, to encantada. Tudo muito fresco, com variedade entre os bowls de saladas, açaí, sopas e muitas outras opções deliciosas. Não faltou sabor que na minha opinião é o principal e muita beleza nos pratos. Vamos as nossas escolhas: 🍽 Eu peguei uma salada que se chama “Peas & Love”, ela veio com um mix de quinoa, falafel de ervilha, espinafre, pepino, mix de beterraba e cenoura e hummus. Vem acompanhando um molho de tahini, limão e alho. A Bru pegou a protein-packed, Gainz, que veio recheado com batata doce, avocado, brócolis, grão de bico, amêndoas, quinoa e o tempeh. Laissez refroidir hors du four sur la plaque puis conservez dans un bocal pendant une dizaine de jours.⁠ ⁠ Préparez le velouté⁠ Retirez les graines du potimarron, sans le peler.⁠ ⁠ Pelez la carotte, coupez-la en dés. Pelez l’oignon et ciselez-le puis émincez-les puis émincez le blanc de poireau.⁠ ⁠ Dans une cocotte, faites chauffer l'huile d'olive.⁠ ⁠ Ajoutez l’oignon, le poireau, la carotte et faites-les revenir pendant 8 minutes, sur feu moyen.⁠ ⁠ Ajoutez le curry, mélangez, ajoutez les dés de courge, les lentilles, le bouillon et portez à ébullition.⁠ ⁠ Baissez le feu, couvrez et laissez mijotez, jusqu'à ce que les légumes et les lentilles soient tendres.⁠ ⁠ Mixez en ajoutant éventuellement plus de liquide si le velouté est trop épais.⁠ Assaisonnez avec du sel et du poivre puis servez avec le granola salé.⁠ ⁠ Bonne dégustation !

Before i became vegan we used to have avocado with egg cooked in the oven for breakfast every Saturday. Easy to make and nutritious. This time i swapped it for a version of vegetable salsa. Chopped red peppers, tomato, broccoli and coriander with a splash of olive oil. Seasoned with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes under 180C. Spread avocado on the toast and cover with salsa.
