I woke up this morning with a fuzzy head and a dry mouth! A feeling that once upon a time was extremely familiar, but thankfully no longer is as I had a penny drop moment where I asked myself this one question; "what's the point?" What's the point in getting wasted 3 times a week. What's the point in smoking 10-20 fags a day? What's the point in spending all weekend in bed recovering from 3 heavy nights on the booze? I almost instantly shifted my mindset from one where I sought instant gratification to one that saw the bigger picture. The picture where we only have a short time on this earth, one body to spend it in and a limited amount of minutes to make the most of it all. And this is how most people's life trajectory changes. They decide one day that the pain of continuing to live their life the way they are is greater than the pain of change. But that feeling of excitement and positive anticipation for ‘what could be’ can very quickly evaporate when you try to make the changes to improve your life but don't know which ones to actually make. | Healthy Sunday Recipe | PiZzA ToAsT 🤤🤤 Super easy to make and you can eat it in breakfast. Ingredients required: 1) Bread (To make it healthier I used a homemade bread) 2) Semolina (Sooji) 1 cup 3) Curd 2 cups 4) Chopped Onion 5) Chopped Tomato 6) Chopped capsicum (green, yellow, red) 7) Salt to taste 8) Chopped chilli / Chilli powder ( depending on your choice) 9) Oregano powder Recipe: 1) Mix Semolina and curd together keep it aside for one hour at least 2) After one hour mix all the chopped vegetables in the batter prepared 3) Add salt (according to your taste) 4) Apply the batter on one side of the bread 5) On a non-stick pan apply clarified butter and heat the bread from both sides till golden brown. 6) Take the bread down from the pan and sprinkle some oregano. Greek yoghurt with a warm honey & rose syrup and fresh figs 💜 Open a tub of natural Greek yoghurt and whip with a fork. Add the seeds of half a vanilla pod and mix in. Melt 2 tbls runny honey in a small saucepan over medium heat and add 2 ts of rose water. Swirl the saucepan to mix. Cut the top off the fig, hold the base with one hand and with the other, cut into eights slicing almost all the way down. Spoon the yoghurt into a glass, fan out the fig on top and pour over the syrup. I have just been extremely busy with school and studying and had the ACT today (anyone else ?!) anyways I am really going to try to be better w posts and coming up with new recipes because i truly love creating new things and interacting with y’all !!💜 * * This has been my go to meal this week !! I think I’ve had it almost every night ... it’s just so so goood !! 👇🏼 * I started by cooking my favorite eatbanza pasta. Next I cut up some zucchini, tomatoes and mushrooms and cooked the zucchini and tomatoes in the same pan on medium heat w olive oil , traderjoes onion salt & garlic powder. (TIP: cook mushrooms in their own pan because they give off a ton of liquid ). Then I added all that into my bowl w some already prepped grilled chicken and topped it w the best sauce the tomato basil raoshomemade. Finally the GAME CHANGER of this recipe is adding in some CAULIFLOWER-CASHEW ALFREDO SAUCE!! ( i usually make a huge batch of this at the beginning of the week so i can add it to my dishes throughout the week ) I made it by using about 1/2 cup of cashews , 2 heaping tablespoons of nutritional yeast, some garlic powder, some onion salt, 1 cup of caulliflower and start w adding a little bit of water and blend and then continue adding water until it’s the consistency you like !!

My message to the $100 billion fitness industry. There are more fitness classes and facilities available than ever before but despite that obesity rates in the UK (and probably globally) have steadily increased since 1993 from 14% to 29%. What does that say? Fitness classes don’t fix a lot of people’s problems. But what does? Based on my experience and these obesity stats, the problem isn’t whether someone works out or not, the problem lies in their lifestyle. A lack of nutrition knowledge. Easy and attractive ‘quick fixes’ being waved in their faces. Their lifestyle including bad habits, Time management and lack of routine or structure in their lives. Those are what need to be addressed. Education on how to sustainably lose weight and have a life as well Address their time management so they have more time to exercise Address their bad habits and lack of routine. Yes gyms are great. They are a much needed tool for body decomposition. However, they are not the solution for a lot of people because if they were, obesity rates would be falling not rising. Are you struggling to lose weight? Address your stress levels, lack of sleep and lack of time/ life balance and then once you’ve sorted that go look for the nearest hot yoga studio.

Catchin' rays and enjoying my parfait☀️ . I loveeee snacks, would be an understatement🤪 For those who know me, you all know I am constantly eating/grazing😂 butttt it is all healthy and filling! This parfait is very simple, whole, and ohh soooo yummy! It took less than 2 minutes to put it together👍 . . You can use any greek yogurt (preferably the 0% as it has no fat/higher protein/low sugar) compared to other yogurts out there. I ended up picking a variety of flavors to add my mix ins. I used a handful of granola, raspberries, and the choco-chips, because I love chocolate!
