Today's 5.45am #jseriessuperfly - Tough but a goodie. ... Time to get real. It's been a week or low self control on the food front. I've given in to temptation and cravings way too easily and indulged in food I don't need every day. I was doing so well with my eating so I'm a mixture of annoyed with myself, disappointed I've allowed myself to cave and shitty with the situation all together. I was reflecting on it and realised that it's around the 4 week mark of being mindful with my eating and committing to exercise. Let's just say 4 weeks of getting my shit together. It's comes as no suprise now that I've realised but history shows I'm super consistent with sticking to something for 3-6 weeks before going off the rails. I think by this time the novelty wares off, if that makes sense. The motivation that may have kicked started the positive mindset fades, the reality of constantly being MINDFUL with your actions gets a bit exhausting and that willpower muscle which I had growing nicely weakens and leads to poor choices. ... I'm on aunty duties this weekend so it's going to be super busy, exhausting and filled with treats (cos that's what being an aunty means!) However I'm really going to try to refocus and nib this in the bud before I undo all my progress. ... Saying no to the negative head talk and that evil craving voice is bloody tough but the truth is it gets harder every time you give in. ... This is my reality check. Feeling more flexible & noticing changes in the body. #Shoulders, arms & #obliques showing some definition. Less flex required to find #abs but still some way to go there. Increased weight to 2kg for feet to ceiling medicineball #hanginglegraises. Completed a 10 minute lung bursting #cardio on the steppermachine. Upped #legextentions to 75lbs. A more convincing 125lb #shoulderpress #achieved. #Lateralpulldowns upped to 175. Inclined #chest press again 50kg. Chestcables increase on last set. #Shrugs 25kg #dumbbells , #HIIT sidebends 20kg , tricepskickbacks & 6bicepcurls 15kg. #Delts exercises up to 7kg dumbbells. Making good progress.
