I have hit a serious plateau, despite my recent nsv I am determined to get into the 250’s by Nov. 1. • I’m currently 261. I really don’t care if it’s just 258 or 259! I just need to see 25-something on the scale so I can feel the motivation I once felt when the numbers were changing on the scale. I’m content with my progress thus far but refuse to get complacent or let discouragement make me back track. • So I’m going to work harder. • This week I’ll avoid meat & have soup every day for lunch and dinner. Breakfast may consist of a rotation of unprocessed oats and sweet potatoes. I’ll drink a gallon of water a day. Snacks will be bananas, almonds, cashews, mangoes, & grapes. • Here’s what is going in my soup: 🍜🥕🥬 Zucchini, squash, unsalted chicken stock, water, yellow and green peppers, spinach, kale, ginger, garlic, baby carrots, celery, and purple onion. Additional seasonings will not contain salt. • My workouts will be about 1.5 hours a day. Lately I have been trying to switch up my workouts to keep my body guessing. So, I have been using some different gym equipment and I am going to start showing how it can be added to your workout. Today it is the Bosu Ball. It helps to intensify your regular body weight strength moves, by adding an unstable surface that makes you have to use your core muscles for stability and balance. First week of high protein & high healthy fat and moderate to low carbs was pretty successful. I did some type of weightlifting or Hiit (20 mins or less) everyday. Both my mental health and my physical health has been going downhill these last few months. My stress levels have been ridiculously high, I have found myself binge eating most nights, my training has had some really shit days and my self-talk has been extremely negative. . It can't go on. . So I had fun playing with a new rope.. well as much fun as you can have been extremely frustrated. Great idea but with poor execution, this rope has so much potential it falls short of. While it still looks pretty cool, I was not able to complete much more than side swing variations due to the ropes incessant need to curl up.
