NEW RECIPE (in post!) As promised, here is my tried and true recipe for homemade stuffing that’s so much better than the boxed version! It’s one that I’ve adapted from a friend and make it every single year around the holidays! What’s even better is that this recipe is glutenfree and no one is ever the wiser for it. Not one person. It’s a great way to make your gluten free guests feel at ease but also like they’re indulging in the real thing. Here’s the recipe: Ingredients: * 2 loaves of your favorite canyonbakehouse gluten free bread. I used one loaf of their country white, and one loaf of their ancient grain. Cut into same size cubes, I like heartier sized cubes. * 8 tbsp. Butter * 2 onions, finely diced * 6 stalks celery, finely chopped * 4 tbsp. chopped fresh sage * 3 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme * 4 eggs, beaten * 4 c. Chicken stock or bone broth * Salt + pepper to taste Method: 2 days before you want to serve, place the cubed bread on sheet pans and let them sit on your counter to air dry. Heat butter in a skillet. Add the onion, celery and salt/pepper to season. Cook until the onions are translucent - about 6 minutes. Add the fresh sage and thyme and cook another 30 seconds. Transfer the dried bread cubes to a bowl and toss with the beaten eggs, stock/bone broth, sautéed onions + celery and a little more salt + pepper. Toss to coat evenly then transfer to a sprayed or buttered 9x13 dish. (Note: if substituting regular bread, you’ll need a bigger dish or split it between two!) Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour, covering with foil during the first half of the baking process. Enjoy! Preheat oven to 400F. Cut cauliflower into desirable sized florets. Place on oven sheet, cover in garlic powder to taste, and bake for 25 min. 2. While cauliflower cooks, melt the butter for 15 sec in microwave. Mix in the additional garlic powder and hot sauce. Stir to combine and set aside. 3. Place 1 tsp olive oil in pan over low-medium heat. Sautee kale until crispy, about 5-10 min. 4. Take cauliflower out of oven and coat in buffalo sauce mixture. Place back in oven for additional 10-15 min. 5. Heat up tortillas. Place kale and avocado chunks. Take cauliflower out of oven and place in tortillas as well. Top with dressing and any additional desired spices. While grocery shopping last week I saw these beautiful sweet peppers and they were screaming out stuff me! 😂😂😂😂 and so I did and it was fantastic here’s the recipe😂 Fajita stuffed peppers 1 tsp olive oil 2.25 pound ground beef or turkey 1 diced onion 1 cup Mushroom diced (optional) 1 tsp Garlic powder 1/4 tsp Red fajita seasoning 1/2 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Salt Shredded cheese In a large skillet add olive oil and ground beef or turkey and cook over high heat while breaking up the meat. Add in the onion, seasoning and mushrooms. Cook until meat is fully cooked through. Slice your peppers open and remove the seeds and the veins stuff the peppers with the meat mixture and bake at350 degrees for 20 minutes. Top with shredded cheese and bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with salsa and guacamole. kraft.naturalcheese lawrysseasoning

We don’t know about you guys, but we are constantly looking for ways to get our kids to eat more veggies. If you have one (or more) of those fabled cherubs that politely begs for more broccoli, more power to you (I call bs though! 😆), but I have the kind that will pick very pea out of a chicken soup or will gag when offered a piece of pepper. 🙄 This Turkey, Glass Noodle & (Psst 🤫) Veggie Stir Fry is our kind of compromise. The veggies kind of melt into the sauce (full disclosure: I usually get more than my share of red cabbage, but I can’t leave it out, I need color in my food! 🤷🏻‍♀️) and there is nary a complaint when this is on the menu. Hello, it’s been a while since I shared a home cooked post! One of my favourite meats to cook is pork tenderloin fillet. It’s lean, super tender and great in a stir fry. Slice the pork thinly then marinade with salt, white pepper, garlic powder, shaoxing wine, sesame oil, oyster sauce, light soya, brown sugar, oil, cornflour and mix well (no need to let the marinade sink in, it’s full of flavour from all the condiments and will act as the sauce too). Fry the pork on high heat until lightly browned then add a cup of water and the choi sum and let it simmer for 5 minutes or so. Use corn flour mixed with water to thicken. PS. You’ll need a steaming bowl of 🍚 to go with that!

Sweet Potato gnocchi is so much softer, less starchy than traditional potato gnocchi, and much more flavorful than cauliflower gnocchi.
