✺ MY TOP 3 TIPS TO LOSE BELLY FAT ✺ . Well let’s start with the misconception that you can “spot reduce” fat in certain areas of your body. Unfortunately, nobody can choose where they lose body fat. Every single person gains weight and loses it differently. It’s all according to your age, genetics, body type, gender, etc etc. Don’t ya think more women would have the thick booty and tiny waist if we could choose? 🤷🏼‍♀️ no matter how hard you work those abs, you can’t work them little. But let’s chat about what you CAN control to slim down that waist. . Numba 1::: Lift HEAVY things 💪 if you take any tips from me, ever, please take this one. There are so many benefits to weight lifting, especially for women. I could talk forever on this but since we’re talking about belly fat, weight lifting and especially incorporating heavy lifting into your routine, helps to whittle that waist down because of the core strength and breathing techniques you have to have in order to perform the workout properly. . Numberrrrrr 2::: Eat a well balanced diet! If you really want to see changes in your stomach, a lot of it is going to come down to your diet. I believe in a well rounded diet full of healthy foods (tons of greens) to fuel you throughout the day, as well as regular cheats and treats to fully satisfy you. When you feel less deprived, you’re less likely to binge, and when you get out of that “diet” mindset, you can more easily focus on other things - and not food 24/7. . Numero tres::: Drink more water (and less drinks that contain CALORIES)!!!!! This is also a big one. Have you ever looked at the drinks you have during the day? You should at the very least be drinking your body weight in water (in oz) if you’re incorporating any workout routine into your day. Now I want you to also take a look at the sugar in your every day drinks you consume. Did you know that the American Heart Association recommends females only have about 25g of “added” sugar per day. This is sugar that comes from anything processed or manufactured. Well a 12oz can of coke has 39g 😬 . What other tips would be helpful in your journey? ♥️

gcon23 asked me if I can win first place in the 10k. I said no, because people have been running their whole lives. So I won first place in my division 🙌🏼 • • I set limitations in my mind before even starting, after running my fastest mile ever (7:17) I knew I could at least beat my own time, which I also did by 5 minutes • • Finishing my 10k at 47:15 and first in my division was great, but the events overall accomplishment was even better. Today, while signing up at a new fitness facility, my email address was entered and this picture popped up in their software system. . Apparently, I have it attached to my google account from years ago and I haven’t paid much attention to it. That is until today. . The picture is about 14 years old. The guy entering my info sat back while looking puzzled stated. “uh, that doesn’t look like you.” . I sat there in my yoga pants, with no makeup on, a messy bun on my head and laughed. . . “Yes it’s me, from a long time ago.” . The truth is, today (just 3 days after turning 40) I can easily say I wouldn’t trade where I am in life with the younger version of myself...not for anything in this world. . In this picture, makeup and curled hair covered up excruciating pain, crippling anxiety, and this look served as a fragile shell to a person who lost her way. A person who prayed for help at night...help to end her pain. I often prayed that I’d fall asleep and never wake up. . Back then, I lost friends who commented that I thought I was “better than everyone else” for doing these small modeling gigs. Who did I think I was? Little did they know, I was crying for help. Help to be seen. I felt alone but I too afraid of my own truth to open up. I couldn’t let others know what was tearing me up inside because I worried what they’d think if they knew. Instead I buried everything. . In these times, I loved getting my hair and makeup done because I looked like someone else. Someone who was confident and worthy of love. Someone who wasn’t...me. . I wish I could go back and hug that young girl tight, listen to her, and the let her know that she was worthy and loved. . Why am I sharing this? . Because at this very moment, you may be in the company of someone who is suffering and unable to reach for help. . In my 40 years on this planet, I’ve lost more than a handful of friends and family to suicide and depression related drug abuse. . Often it is the last person you’d expect to fold. . Time to get real for a minute. I have totally lost control over my diet & my commitment to the gym since we’ve moved to St Louis. I have been enjoying the new city and new foods since I got here in July and I’ve put on about 30 pounds from the top photos to the bottom. To be truth...I don’t want to post my Day 1 of Transphormation Fall Sprint Challenge here because I didn’t like how look that way right now. . I know it’s look bad... . I feel so embarrassing how much I have work hard to weight loss until... . After a overwhelming of busy schedule, I was lose my tracking time and eat any meals from out of town. . June 13 - October 20 I’ve been bulking pretty consistently for about 4 months, training in totality for 10. I can remember when I couldn’t squat 145, bench 115 or deadlift 185. By the end of the year I’m going to squat 275, bench 225 and deadlift 315. The road to get to this point as certainly been a long one, filled with many failed lifts and emotional cheat meals followed by feeling awful about both. Overtime, those lifts became my warmup, and failed lifts become motivation. Cheat meals became a planned thing, and I feel good about eating them. Obviously I am not where I want to be, but I am on track to meet the goals I have set in the frame I have planned, and by the end of March 2020 I’m going to begin cutting consistently for the first time. I have learned so much in the last year and I’m so great full for those who have helped me along the way and taught me what I needed in order to accomplish my goals. s2faction iam1stphorm

I like a little of both.. but I think apples and cinnamon is a lot more classic and warming.. makes me think of the leaves turning brown and chilly nights where you can hear the wind blowing through the trees.. did I take you there? 😆 . . If not, one bite of this Healthy Apple Crisp in a Jar certainly will! . . Protein Apple Crisp 🍎 . . Ingredients: . 4 Granny Smith apples 1/3 cup all purpose flour 1 cup rolled oats 2 scoops of 1stPhorm Phormula 1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch 1/4 cup stevia 1/4 cup coconut sugar 1/2 tsp Sea salt 1 tsp Vanilla 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground 1/2 tsp Nutmeg 2 tbsp lemon juice 1/3 cup of butter softened 2 cups of water (divided) 1/2 cup chopped pecans . Directions: Chop apples into cubes and put in a saucepan with 1 1/2 cups water, lemon juice, vanilla extract, dash of cinnamon, and 1/4 cup coconut sugar and bring to a boil. Allow to simmer until apples are soft and water has evaporated. . In a frying pan toast the oats with PAM. Set aside. In a mixing bowl combine protein powder, spices, salt, pecans, and 1/4 cup of stevia. Next mix in the oats, add in the water and butter, mid together with your handles until mix is crumbled. Saute on the stove with a little coconut oil. . I used 4 mason jars for this purpose, but you can use any kind of container, mason jars are just easy to store and take with you :) . Scoop apples into jars, top with crumble, sprinkle a little cinnamon on top, top with cool whip, and serve or store for later. ENJOY!! . . . . While I was making my meals this analogy came in my head about reaching goals you set for yourself . Starting a change can be similar to a long road trip. It would almost be impossible to do the road trip without a map, gas, food, water, etc . Basically it’s going to just SUCK if you don’t know where you are, have no food, no water, and a phone with no battery . And that can be related to losing/gaining weight! It’s going to be a longggg miserable trip you won’t want to go back on if you don’t have tools to make it easier . Without a map you never no if you’re going to make it and you probably will lose faith and give up . In dieting this could be anything from a meal plan, exercises, or someone to talk to that’s been through what you’re experiencing . That’s what I think of when I hear mytransphormationapp . 53 days ago I started 75hard. In those 53 days I have learned a lot about myself and how I was being a “Hiroshima” bomb.....no impact, little results...overall doing the same shit over and over again.
