Cooked the pasta, and added it to a pan with the warmed sauce and a ladle full of the pasta water. . . Turns out, making trofie is right up our street - easy, hand made and looks better for being rustic. PASTA WITH BLACK BEANS AND LAUREL Ingredients: 200 gr black beans 2 bay leaves 1 garlic bicarbonate pasta sugar salt The night before, soak black beans with a little salt and baking soda. Il mattino dopo lavare tutto con acqua fredda. In una pentola inserire i fagioli e due foglie di alloro. Aggiungere l'aglio,il sale e una punta di zucchero. Strüdel alle mele 🍎 🍏! E' la bandiera della pasticceria dell'Alto Adige. Il termine tedesco “strudel”, tradotto alla lettera in “vortice”, sottolinea la struttura del dolce fatto involtando nella pasta una farcitura di frutta. Secondo la cultura popolare la giusta consistenza della sfoglia sarebbe quella che consente di leggervi in trasparenza una lettura d'amore. Lo strudel sembra sia una variante dell'antico dolce turco “baclava”, ancora oggi molto comune nel paese della mezza luna.  RICETTA: Pasta sfoglia •250gr Farina; •50gr burro; •1 uovo; •1 cucchiaio di zucchero; •sale. Setacciate la farina con il sale e lo zucchero; versare sei cucchiai di acqua tiepida, uova e burro a temperatura ambiente. Impastate, fate una palla e lasciatela riposare per un’ora. Ripieno: •2kg di mele; •150gr biscotti secchi; •50gr uva passa, •50gr pinoli; •1/2 bicchiere di succo di mele; •2 cucchiai di miele; •1 limone non trattato; •cannella q.b. >Mettete in ammollo l’uva passa dopo averla lavata, sbucciata le mele e tagliatele a fettine. Versate i due ingredienti in una terrina, unite il miele, la cannella, i pinoli e la scorza di limone, mescolate e lasciate macerare. >Stendete la pasta sopra un canovaccio infarinato tirando una sfoglia molto sottile, cospargete i biscotti briciolati e versate sopra il composto di uva passa e mele. >Arrotolate la sfoglia alzando il canovaccio, ponete lo strudel sulla piastra del forno o in una teglia unta d’olio e infarinate a 220°C. Dopo mezz’ora di cottura spennellate la sfoglia con il succo di mele e lasciate poi cuocere ancora per 15-20 minuti circa. Melenzane Involtini or stuffed eggplant is one of my favorite ways to make eggplant. Eggplant is one of my favorite vegetables so I’ll eat it most ways. Trippa e cannellini Ingredienti per 4/6 persone 1kg di trippa 250g cannellini secchi 1 carota 1 costa di sedano 1 cipolla 1 spicchio d'aglio 1 foglia di alloro 1/2 bicchiere di vino bianco 600g passata di pomodoro Menta Pepe Olio extravergine d'oliva Mettete a rinvenire per una notte i fagioli. Portateli a cottura con una foglia di alloro e metteteli da parte. Se non usate la trippa precotta, pulitela, sbollentate la e tagliatela a listarelle. Mettete in un tegame il trito di carota, sedano, cipolla e aglio. Fate andare il trito con un filo d'olio per qualche minuto, quindi aggiungete la trippa. Pepate, aggiungete la menta e sfumate con il vino. Quando il vino sarà evaporato aggiungete i fagioli. Fate andare per qualche minuto quindi aggiungete la salsa e fate andare almeno per quaranta minuti. Cover with a lid and cook low heat for 10 minutes. You can use dried chickpeas, but it takes longer to cook! 3. Add 1 canned kidney beans. Cook for 10 more minutes. Add a pinch of dried sage, garlic powder, parsley, more water. 4. Pour in a cup. Serve with croutons and a drizzle of olive oil. . Enjoy! a ogni uccello il suo nido è bello “home sweet home” 〰️ pasta and pasta sauce are HOME to me. I have always found comfort in the holy trinity of pasta, sauce and cheese. and by cheese I mean peaks to rival Everest of delicious parmigiano reggiano. ⠀⠀ it takes me right back to my grandma’s kitchen table. Her shag rug and very 70s kitchen. once a week and every other Sunday I would either sleep over or have dinner with her. on nights where it was just the two of use we had a usual rotation and my great-great grandmother’s marinara and spaghetti is my all time, hands down FAVORITE. ⠀⠀ she passed away a few years ago. it was hard to watch her slowly slip away. I have regrets. but making this sauce the way she taught me is when I fee the strongest connection with her. it takes me back to sitting at that kitchen table, listening to her thick New York accent telling me to always stick up for myself and stand up for people being wronged. then also telling me how she mad a man cry after he tried to cop a feel in a subway car in the 50a. my grandma. for the recipe, check out my stories 🍝 🇮🇹

Classic Pizza Margarita ! 🍕 Series of Non Indian recipes 😋 Ingredients : 300 gm white bread flour /all purpose flour 1 tsp yeast 1 tsp sea salt 1 tbsp Olive oil Pizza sauce with herbs (or you can make your own passata) Bunch of fresh basil leaves 100gm ball mozzarella 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Preparation: Put the flour into a large bowl, then add yeast and salt. Make a well, pour in 200ml lukewarm water and olive oil and bring together to make a dough. Take out to a floured surface and knead for 5 mins until smooth by throwing it backward and forward through your hands . Cover it with towel and set aside to rise for 30/40 mins . Now take out the dough and give it a quick knead, then split into two balls. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into large rounds around 1/2 thick using a rolling pin. Take the rounds and put them on two floured baking sheets. When you are ready , Pre heat the oven at 250°C/500°F. Spread the tomato sauce in the base, add grated cheese all over, tear mozzarella and scatter around with basil leaves . Sprinkle little bit of olive oil. Recipe: Veggie Lasagna⁣ ⁣ My family gobbles this vegetable-packed lasagna right up! ⁣ ⁣ You need:⁣ Lasagna noodles (I use about 2/3 pack of no cook noodles)⁣ 1 lb mushrooms, sliced⁣ 3/4 c chopped bell peppers⁣ 2 large handfuls of spinach, chopped⁣ 3/4 c chopped onion⁣ 3 cloves garlic ⁣ 1 jar pasta sauce⁣ 2 t dried or fresh basil⁣ 15 oz. ricotta⁣ 4 c mozzarella ⁣ 2 eggs⁣ Fresh grated parmesan ⁣ ⁣ Directions:⁣ Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large saucepan, sauté the mushrooms, peppers, spinach, and onion. Add garlic the last couple of minutes. Stir in your pasta sauce and basil and let it simmer.⁣ ⁣ In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta, eggs, and 2 cups of shredded mozzarella.⁣ ⁣ Spread a thin layer of your sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Then, layer noodles, ricotta mixture, sauce, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Repeat layer 3-4 times. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.⁣ ⁣ Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Allow a few minutes to cool before serving. Enjoy!⁣ ⁣ Recipe notes:⁣ I always add more veggies than the recipe calls for. ⁣ You can mix up the veggies as you’d like - zucchini, chopped or grated carrots, etc. would be great additions.⁣ I like to use sliced mozzarella to top the lasagna.⁣ ⁣ Watch me make it in my stories.
