We are ushering in the new year with some traditional Japanese new year dishes that are part of what is called Osechi-ryōri (#御節料理 or #お節料理) . . 📸 Shown in this first pic is a dish called the Chrysanthemum Kabu (Kikka Kabu #菊花かぶ).
