** HONEST POST ** so today I went over my calories... by a lot! I was totally within my calories until I got home from work. The good thing about working a long shift and prepping my meals is that I can only eat what I take. But when I got home today I just really wanted sweet things and I thought, you know what... why not? “THIS IS MY 100TH DAY ONE” I see this all the damn time. Restarting on Mondays. Having a few off weeks, gaining back 5-10 pounds and then restarting. I’m going to share something with you after working in hospitals, nursing homes, and coaching many clients. If you keep restarting, if you keep putting your life and health on the backburner, saying it doesn’t matter as much as other things, not prioritizing it, you may end up like some of the patients I’ve come across. Lemon Raspberry Chia Seed Oat Muffins🍋: Woooo, that's quite a mouth-full 😂 Here is the recipe, by popular demand!! In my "dry ingredient bowl", I added 1/2 cup of flour, 2 1/2 cups of oats, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1 tsp of baking soda, a pinch of cinnamon, hemp hearts, flax seeds, and a pinch of salt. In my "wet ingredient bowl" I added 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of coconut oil, 1/2 cup of apple sauce, 1/4 cup of honey, a splash of vanilla, 2 lemons zested, and 2 lemons juice and 1 container of washed raspberries into the batter! I mixed both mixtures together, popped little muffin papers into the muffin tins, poured the batter into them, and snuck 2 fresh raspberries into each, topped them with chia seeds, and a few oats, popped them in the oven for about 40 minutes at 350°... waited till they were golden brown, removed them from the oven, let them rest a while, transfer to board and place in container once completely cooled!👌🏼❤️🍋 Mine were a bit over done at the bottom, so watch them like a hawk!!😁 Keep in mind it is mostly oats, so the middle is a bit softer, but if you keep them in the fridge they are more firm! - - - - - - - - - healthyeating healthyfood health whatsinyourplate mydailyeats consciouseating goodeats food weightloss lifestylechange healthyhabits changingoldhabits eatrealfood motivation weightlossmotivation weightlosstransformation transformationjourney merviesjourney pinchofmar feelgood fuelyourbody fuelyourmind
