For the past three weeks I’ve been swaying between Keto and Carnivore, leaning more towards Carni most days. Therefore I was stoked when I came across a recipe detroit_ketones_lady posted, for Keto (almost Carni) egg custard. I replaced the cinnamon with nutmeg and made mine twice the size (six custards from this recipe instead of twelve). Served with sugar free maple syrup this was amazing! It was even a hit with a child who never likes any Keto desserts. The ketocookies were OK but need a few tweaks I think. I had three left so I crumbled them and pressed them into two ramekin dishes. Then I beat 70g of cream cheese with 30g of butter and 2 tbsp of sweetener then folded in 40g of whipped cream to put on the top and made ketocheesecake. Instructions: 1. Let butter and cream cheese soften. 2. Preheat oven to 350F. Using an electric mixer, mix butter and sweetener. Add cream cheese, mix. Add egg, vanilla, and salt, mix. Add coconut flour, mix. Add the white chips and Mac nuts and mix. 3. Place dough on parchment lined baking sheet in balls of 2 tbsp each (should make around 15). Flatten. 4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges begin to brown lightly. Let cool 5 minutes, enjoy! . Macros: Serving size is 1 cookie. Recipe makes 12 servings. Calories: 120 Fat: 14g Protein: 3g Net carbs: 2g Fiber: 6g .
