The 1 question I get asked is “what do your kids eat?” I know it seems like it would be difficult to get kids to eat Primally. Well, it is and it isn’t. When my kids ate PBJ almost everyday and had Cheerios for breakfast and other “grain staples” in their diet it was tough coming up with options they would eat. They also had to detox from sugar and grains which also wasn’t fun. . . Once all that was over and I found Primal foods that they loved it got easier and easier. Don’t get me wrong, I still deal with the candy and all the junk food they get when they go to friends houses or school, but I don’t want to be too strict during those times because I want them to be honest with me and I want to teach them that they have choices and those choices are theirs 100%. . . This is a typical school lunch for my kids now. Organic deli turkey, blueberries, cheese & peppers. I baked it in an 8x8 lined with parchment paper. Once done I removed from the oven and let the cake cool. Once cooked I removed the parchment paper and cake from pan and then added just the cake back into it. I then poked holes in the cake using the back of a wooden spoon.⁠ .⁠ I took 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, and 1/2 cup half&half and mixed together. I then poured it over the entire cake letting it soak it all up! I then covered and put in the fridge to cool.⁠ .⁠ While the cake was cooling I prepared a frosting using 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2oz cream cheese, and 2 tbsp allulose blend sweetener. Mix until thick and creamy. Top cake with frosting and sprinkle with cinnamon! Все это отличный источник белка; ⠀ 🐟 Рыба и морепродукты Последнее время подсела на лосось. Беру свежее филе, мариную и добавляю его в салаты, к омлету или на тосты; ⠀ 🧀 Сыр Его я люблю также добавлять в салаты, омлет, супы или запеканку. Я думаю он сочетается почти со всеми блюдами. Мои любимчики это - моцарелла, камамбер, гауда; ⠀ 🍳 Яйца Кушаю ежедневно. Had dinner reptile.rel last night and she made the yummiest chicken that was bacon wrapped and stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar cheese and jalapeños. New day, new journey. . We got married in October and I was 204 lbs. we had our wedding and I took it easy for a while with my lifestyle. Thanksgiving came and went. Then we had our honeymoon in the beginning of December. Next it was Christmas and New Year’s. THEN we found out I was pregnant. . January 5th was the day we found out and I weighed in at 219.8 lbs. Our first doctor’s appointment wasn’t until the 28th so we continued on and I struggled with eating due to food aversions. The 28th came and we saw an incredibly tiny version of what we were supposed to see. I was measuring much smaller than what I thought, but we saw that little grain of rice and that little flicker of a heartbeat and I was happy. . We went back to the doctor a week later to make sure there was growth progress. There wasn’t much and we couldn’t see the flicker anymore. They asked if we wanted to wait one more week and we said yes, of course! Which we did and sadly by the next visit it was quite obvious that our baby was no longer with us. We were given several options and I went with what was best for me. . It’s been about 2.5 days since my surgery on Friday and I weighed in at 234.8 lbs. These last few weeks have been about survival for us and there’s been some emotional eating (not nearly what I used to do), but mostly there’s been a lot of tears and soul searching. . This entire ordeal opened my eyes to a lot of things. Emotionally, spiritually, physically. It allowed my husband and I to become closer and grow as a couple. And it brought some health concerns of my own to my attention. . So while I’m knee deep in this emotional mud, I’ve decided now is the best time to begin making healthy lifestyle choices to get back on track. It’s not about the number on the scale, it’s about health and how much even two short months of being pregnant took a toll on my body and mind. Today begins a new journey, one I’m excited for, but know it’s not going to be easy.
