Straight arm cable pull downs are one of my favourite back engagement variations, that I frequently use either to start or to finish with in my back sessions. It can make for a great pre-exhaustion piece OR as a finisher.
For the bigger 🦍’s in town, that are a little wider on the frame - it pays to pay attention to your anatomy and equipment selection choice you utilise.
It makes the difference between a certain variation being executed with mediocrity or being incredibly effective 💪🔥💯 I’ll take myself as a prime example, when I hit this roped cable variation of a pull down using a single rope pulley - it barely touches the sides as compared to using two at the same time. This difference is of greater benefit of lat engagement using two ropes instead of one and the increased ability to pull past the bodies midline.
If you are wide, tall, short or small, slim or built like a barn door, there are always subtle changes that can be made to increase the effectiveness of just about anything.
😭 I can only have meat OR dairy once a week, so this is my life now. I just tried the #vegenaise and I hated it, but I’ll get used to it. The smell is the same as mayo, but the taste is eek. I know I like #soyrizo, the #veggiedogs, and melted #daiya. The #goodkarma stuff is tasty. I also bought veggies and fruit. You know what sounds good right now? A thick steak with a baked potato with butter, cheese, and sour cream 😍 #nomeat#nodairy
Summer flavors. BBQ Jackfruit with Coleslaw on a whole wheat bun. A great alternative. Rinse and drain 4 cans of jackfruit, shred and mix with BBQ sauce. Marinate for 1 hour. Cook on stove med-high for 30 minutes.
We’ve been asked sooo many times to make our pies in bulk and for retail. Something for us to think about.
. 🌿. 🌱. 💕. 😍
Picked up a little treat from @suzyspoonsvegetarianbutcher@carriageworksfarmersmarket
This Seitan, leek and mushroom pie 🌱🌱 is comfort food at its best!!! 😍
The chunky pieces of seitan (very much like chicken) with beautiful flavours of leeks and mushroom, all wrapped up in a flaky, crunchy pie crust, totally hit the spot and warmed me up from the inside out this chilly morning ❄❄❄.
I absolutely ❤ @suzyspoonsvegetarianbutcher products. My favourite would have to be the Polenta, Sundried tomato & Basil sausages, followed closely by the Kale & Cauliflower sausages and now.... these pies have just made it to the list!!!.
Definitely worth a try!!!!.
Thanks for the fab photo @rus_foodie_adventures
