This risotto is sooooo easy to whip up in the instant pot and just so delicious! Citrus Pound Cake is a spin on traditional pound cake. Hints of lemon and orange come through each bite. It's buttery rich with an unexpected tang. Bob's grandmother used to ask me to make it on each of her extended visits here from Iran. It was the least I could do given she'd spend much of her visits cooking our favorite Persian soups, stews, and desserts. She passed away a couple of weeks ago. I've baked this cake twice in a row now in loving memory of her. This cake is sooo good - she had good taste! 🍋🍊💛🧡

Esta tarde la merienda fue avena (preparada desde la noche anterior), me encanta este alimento porque nos da tantos beneficios 🥰 ✅ Vitaminas B1, B2, B5,B6 y E. ✅ Potasio, hierro, zinc, calcio, magnesio y fósforo. ✅ Aporte de proteína. ✅ Carbohidratos complejos y fibra. ✅ Se puede utilizar en muchas preparaciones y da saciedad. En un frasquito puse: ⭐ 1 taza de bebida vegetal de coco (o la bebida vegetal o leche que ud prefiera, en lo personal me gusta que quede bien líquida, pero puede ponerle 1/2 taza si prefiere más espesa) ⭐ 1/2 taza de avena. ⭐ 1 cucharadita de coco rallado. ⭐ 1 cucharadita de vainilla. ⭐ Stevia. ⭐ Se revuelve con una cuchara y lo deja reposar toda la noche. ⭐ Agregar la fruta que guste. waiting for my next cardiac counseling appointment to arrive... when coincidentally a meditation picture comes up on the screen behind me 😬 a cool thing about the hospital i work for is that it has an outpatient cardiac rehabilitation center where patients can talk to a dietitian about their diet. it’s my hope that by talking to each person with undivided attention and empathy that they leave feeling empowered about by their daily food choices. I hope to remind them of power they really have. it’s easy to feel hopeless when you have to have this procedure and take that medication and not know very much about the process at all. i hope to remind people that a diet change can ease loads from their shoulders. and that they can turn their lives around if they really want to. FDA’s low guidelines are to simply to prevent deficiency, not optimize body composition. . I can guarantee you that anyone you see with a lean, fit physique prioritizes protein and takes in much more than the FDA minimum recommendations. . How do I get that much in? . Divide total protein amount among how many times you eat a day. . So if you need 180 grams a day and eat 5 times that would be 180/5=36g meal. . Tem gente que diz que para ser saudável tem que comer frutas caras. Se você quiser, e puder, ok, mas não é uma regra. Da para comer bem com opções mais baratas. Por isso quero aproveitar o calorzão que está aqui para sugerir a boa e velha laranja, saborosa e barata. A laranja é conhecida principalmente pela vitamina C, que ajuda na prevenção e tratamento de gripes e resfriados. Além disso, é fonte de potássio, magnésio, betacaroteno, antioxidantes e fibras (responsáveis pelo bom índice glicêmico). Em relação a Vitamina C, cada laranja fornece em média 70 mg de vitamina C, mais de 150% da quantidade diária recomendada no Brasil (que é de 45mg) e tratamento de gripes e resfriados. Ou seja, 1 laranja por dia é suficiente para atender as necessidades diárias. A suplementação deve ocorrer apenas se houver alguma necessidade específica e/ou deficiência. Sendo assim, aproveite essa delícia que geladinha fica ainda mais gostosa. 😋

Con il termine VOLUME DI ALLENAMENTO si intende il numero di serie che fai nel corso della settimana. Serie ALLENANTI con un PESO ALTO in relazione al numero di colpi della serie. Il volume di allenamento in chi è NATURAL è un parametro da tenere sotto controllo, perché le capacità di recupero del natural non sono infinite. Se nei DOPED all'alto volume di allenamento corrisponde l'alto dosaggio dei farmaci, nei natural è sempre bene tenere sempre sotto stretta osservazione la capacità di recupero del tuo corpo. Per questo puoi dividere l’allenamento in microcicli al termine dei quali fai una settimana di allenamento LEGGERA per permettere un quasi totale recupero dallo stimolo allenante delle settimane precedenti. I hope you’re all having an awesome week 💕. Just stopping by to say hi 🤗. I love cooking vegan meals and sharing my recipes with you all🌱. I hope you’ve been enjoying looking at them all. I took this pic last night before going to sleep 😊. I wanted to rant a little about sleep today 🙈. Sleep affects your day to day quality of life. Lately, I haven’t been getting enough sleep. I have been sleeping later, waking up earlier, drinking more caffeine, getting terrible headaches, migraines, fogginess, energy levels are lower, my workouts don’t have the same effect, etc. I just haven’t been able to sleep before midnight. I think there’s a lot on my mind that I just haven’t dealt with and have been ignoring. A good stretch or a meditation sesh usually helps. I need to get back on track! About 2 months ago, I could easily sleep 9-10 hrs, in fact, I couldn’t function properly if I didn’t lol. I’m going to cut caffeine out for a few weeks and try to meditate more often, and see if it helps 🤞🏼. Thank you for reading my rant 😴. Es frecuente ver personas que intentan seguir una vida saludable y se centren casi en exclusiva en la nutrición. . Sin duda la nutrición es importante. No obstante, en el mundo desarrollado en el que vivimos es difícil tener un déficit nutricional no asociado a ninguna patología. Una vez tengamos unas pautas mínimas sobre lo que es comer bien o no, debemos de abordar los otros pilares, posiblemente más importantes. . Ejercicio y descanso son esenciales para mantener tus niveles de salud óptimos. . 🏋 Moverte un poco todo los días (por ejemplo hacer los 10.000 pasos diarios), y entrenar de manera más intensa dos o tres veces por semana aportarán más a tu salud que desayunar todos los días una tostada de aguacate con pan integral. . 😴 Descansar y gestionar el estrés😰 posiblemente sea el pilar más importante de los 3, y a la vez el menos cuidado. Vivimos en una sociedad con déficit crónico de sueño y constante estrés, y es aquí donde puede que haya más margen de mejora.
