Have you ever felt weak, not wanting to eat anything in breakfast? It’s probably because you are not used to eating good breakfast, or just eat leftover of yesterday or even packed food.. we fail to understand how the body works! The first meal should be your ideal meal and it should contain all the essential nutrients that your body needs! A good example, oats is given in my blog. Personally, I find it the best breakfast option and it can be mixed with so many other food items. Milk, Water, Bananas, Dates, honey, apple, whey protein, chocolate powder😎🙈 , dry fruits and so on! You get good quality carbohydrates, protein and fibres from your very first meal!

Morning Porridge Peeps ✨ Long time, no tahini. So I’m bringing it back today with one of my favourite combos using the sesame seed butter: Warm Banana Porridge with Raisins, Walnuts & a Tahini Lake 🍌🍇💛 Feel like I have been slacking on posts lately. But it’s not the only aspect I feel like I’ve been slacking on. If I’m honest, I feel like I’ve been slacking in every aspect of life lately. It’s certainly not been a productive week. Or at least that’s what my head is telling me. Quite often that voice is wrong. This morning I woke up early. Super early. I couldn’t sleep. So I made my porridge. There, one thing I’ve achieved today. Once I finished that, I thought about how much school work I could do & catch up on now that I’m awake. I decided to go back to sleep. Now that I’m awake, I feel rested & as fresh as I can (I’m always a bit of a walking zombie & I haven’t had my coffee yet 😴). But I also feel guilty & annoyed at myself. Why? Because I went to sleep instead of doing some school work & wasn’t productive - I wasted my time. I’m now saying to that destructive voice in my head, stop. There was no way I could have done that work to the best of my ability when tired - it wouldn’t have gone in my head & I wouldn’t have put my full effort in. Being productive isn’t all about work work work. Resting & recharging is so important too. It’s an important task to complete everyday - a vital part in ensuring you can perform your best in life. It’s a different kind of productive. I’ve been ignoring this for the last week in particular. Pushing myself to keep on going & cutting out my daily naps. Has it benefited me? No. Why? Because rest is important & not something that should be compromised too much. Obviously I don’t mean lazing around all day everyday. That wouldn’t be good for your health either. But if you want a lazy day, a lazy couple of hours or a lazy lie in before work/school, do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Your body is clearly tired & crying out for rest. Don’t feel guilty about looking after yourself once in a while. That was a rant & 1/2 that probably didn’t make much sense, sorry. But I hope you guys all have a nice Friday ✨🌈

Pear and cocoa oats!🍐 Today I woke up wanting a sweet and warm bowl of oat, trying put a new recipe, pear and ciocco is one of my favourite cakes so I thought to turn it into a porridge🥣☕️. Super inspired by wakeupandsmelltherosay hot berry proats soo i decided to give them a chocolate twist cos yea, i think that if i was food, I’d probably be a huge tray of fudgy brownies 😂🍫 . . . . For the OatZ: -1/3 cup Scottish Oats -enough water to cover them -1 scoop of chocolate protein, i use womensbest (you can just sub for cocoa powder for sweetness and chocolatey goodness) -1 tbsp of cacao powder, i used naturya 🍓🍫 Mix all these ingredients in a pot on the hob until a the mixture starts getting thicccc🍫🍓 To Top it Off: -Frozen Berries warmed up in a pan until they start melting sliiightly (didn’t want them to be tooo much of a slimy texture ya know) -a few dried mulberries -some crunchy PB for that nutty textured goodness 🤤 (i used the myproteinuk vegan crunchy pb) -a pinch of cacao nibs for moore texture and flavor, i used the naturya ones Et Voilà! Das esse ich sooo gerne 💕☺️ Ich finde es einfach toll, wie wandelbar Gemüse sein kann. Außerdem gibt es mir ein gutes Gefühl, meinen Körper schon morgens mit Gemüse verwöhnt zu haben 🙈☺️😂 Die Carrot oats esse ich sogar ein klein wenig lieber als meine heißgeliebten Zoats 😅 Diesmal habe ich das ganze mit Kokosraspeln, Granatapfelkernen, Blaubeeren und Kakaonibs verfeinert 😍 . Komm, ich zeig euch wie man dieses Frühstück ganz einfach zubereitet 👇🏼 . 👩🏽‍🍳 Vegane🌱 Carrot oats 🥕 1-2 Esslöffel Haferflocken, fein 1 Karotte, fein geraspelt 1 Dattel, klein geschnitten 4 Walnüsse, grob gehackt Pflanzenmilch, zb. Kokos-Reisdrink zuckerfrei 1/2 Pack Bio Vanillepudding Pulver ▪️ In einem Messbecher mischt du das Puddingpulver mit ca 100ml Pflanzenmilch ▪️Gebe die geraspelte Karotte mit den Haferflocken in den Topf und füge etwas Wasser dazu, soviel dass die Masse gerade bedeckt ist, lass alles köcheln ▪️Füge die Walnüsse und Dattel hinzu und rühre gut um ▪️Nun kommt die Puddingmilch in den Topf, rühre kräftig und lass das Oatmeal aufkochen.
