Keeps them fuller longer and seem to add a little more energy to their days 🦋 we eat pretty healthy most days, no one is celiac around here, so I cook with flour. Yes, I have some amazing 30 days healthy recipes that are gluten free, but this recipe isn’t!!⠀ ⠀ These waffles are sweet and crunchy at the same time!!⠀ ⠀ What I call a Delicious protein waffle!!⠀ ⠀ 2 cups white flour⠀ 1 cup of Arbonne mable cake protein powder ⠀ 1 cup of whole wheat flour ( if you only have one type of flour use that then)⠀ 1/2 cup brown sugar⠀ 4 tsps baking soda 1 tsp cinnamon ☝️always add a pinch more⠀ 1 tsp kosher salt⠀ 4 eggs lightly beaten ( home raised are best)⠀ 2 tsp of pure vanilla⠀ 3/4 melted unsalted butter⠀ 2 cups of vanilla yogurt ( Greek Preferably)⠀ 2 cups milk⠀ And if you want pecans add 1 cup!! ⠀ Oh ... and I added a couple chocolates chips for good measures! Literally can’t go wrong!!!⠀ ⠀ Mix and mash them together, let it sit for a few minutes and turn your waffle maker on! How does it affect you guys? I went out on Friday and had a couple (or 6) "skinny" margaritas, a vodka soda or 2, and maybe a shot of tequila...u know typical happy hour 🤪🤷‍♀️. Also ended up eating a couple tacos. Anyway, I woke to a 5 lb weight increase which I understand is completely water weight because I havent really eaten since, minus the salad. It did not affect my ketone level which surprised me, but I'm not complaining. Point being if you enjoy alcohol as much as I do, strict keto eating is a must (at least for me) and prepare yourself for the shock of the water weight gain 1-2 days after.
