🤙Aloooooha! I hope you liked the video for the creamy Parmesan Spinach Mushroom Chicken dish yesterday. As always we like to post the recipe for you to be able to make this dish yourself. What side would you pair this with? 🤔 Parmesan Spinach Mushroom Chicken Ingredients: 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts butterflied 1 bag of spinach 1 box of mushrooms sliced (whichever kind you like) ¼ c of butter 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 tbsp flour 8 oz bag of grated parmesan cheese ½ tsp of garlic powder 8 oz half and half or heavy cream 1 can chicken broth Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp of olive oil Instructions: 1. Butterfly chicken and season each side with salt and pepper. 2. Add oil to pan or skillet and cook chicken on medium high for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side or to a temp of 165° 3. Remove chicken and set aside. 4. Cook mushrooms in same pan/skillet until tender (just a few minutes). Set aside. 5. In the same pan/skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook for a few minutes. Then whisk in flour for about 2 minutes. 6. Whisk in the broth, half and half or heavy cream, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add mushrooms. 7. Add as much spinach as you like (let wilt down and add more so pan doesn’t overflow). 8. Add the chicken and let simmer for a few minutes. 9. Favorite kitchen appliance(s) and...GO! 👇 . For me, it’s hands down a tie between the French press, because, ☕️, and the oven. Call me crazy, but there is simply nuh-thing that compares to the flavor of roasted veggies 🙌 Now, I know Mr. Compston (love you boo 😘) will probably say the oven is his LEAST favorite appliance in the summer thanks to me 😆, but thankfully he loves me enough to let me roast up all my faves for meals like THIS nourish bowl👆Batch prepped single COMPONENTS (in oven or other) is simple and allows for endless meal possibilities. It’s quite literally versatility every time you sit down to eat. Alright, you’re up! Tell us your favorite kitchen gadgets! . dEats: •bbq tofu •sautéed carrot “noodles” sautéed in evoo and garlic •roasted 🥦 • @bienasnacks ranch chickpeas •smashed 🥑 . Tofu Directions: drain and press tofu with paper towels to remove excess water. Cube and toss with liquid aminos (or similar) and preferred oil. Roast at 375 for 20-25 mins, tossing once. Remove and toss with a few tbsp favorite bbq sauce (we ❤️ @traderjoes garlic sriracha) place back in oven for another 6-8 mins. Remove and serve! 🥦: toss with evoo, salt and pepper and roast for 20-25 mins at 375.

Easy sausage & onion leak & garlic pie.....1 pack of sausage-meat. Small amount of leek chopped into tiny pieces.1 onion chopped small squares.1 tablespoon of garlic granules. Salt & pepper. 1 pack of ready roll puff pastry........In a small bowl Add a tablespoon of butter add the leek & onions. Pop into microwave till onions and leeks soften in the butter. Take out to cool down. Roll the pastry and fill the bottom of a pie dish with the pastry. Add the sausage meat. Add the onions and leek over the top. Salt and pepper. Then the garlic granules. Mix everything in with a fork. Roll more pastry and cover the top of the pie sealing the edges. With a pastry bush use a bit of milk to baste the pie. I honestly had to look up the distinct differences between tacos and fajitas (embarrassed to say I lived in Mexico once upon a time 🤦‍♀️) but, at the end of the day, to us it’s doesn’t matter how tortillas, protein, and veggies come together as long as it is DELICIOSO! . I’ve decided to call these Shrimp “Tajitos” and what makes them even better is that they are made SHEET PAN style to make cooking FAST and clean up EASY. If you’re looking for a quick, balanced dinner for dos 👫 follow this simple recipe... - Slice 1 medium yellow, green, and red pepper into thin strips. Cut 1/2 small yellow onion into thin slices. Lay these on a baking sheet and toss in a drizzle of avocado oil. - In a mixing bowl combine 1/2 lb. peeled shrimp with seasonings of your choice. I just eyeball garlic and onion powder, cumin, and ancho chili powder. Nestle shrimp among the peppers and hit everything with a little salt. - Place tray under the broiler and cook for about 20 minutes until the peppers have started to char and the shrimp is pink. - Serve with mashed avocado or guacamole, warm tortillas, pico if you want, and plenty of lime. . Its quick, easy to meal prep, and holds well in the fridge (just don't put the toppings on until you are ready to eat it). . Chicken Butrito Bowl (Makes 4 servings, 1 bowl each) . 2 cups cooked brown rice, warm 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce 1 cup black beans, warm 2 1/4 cups shredded cooked chicken breast, warm 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce ½ cup cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese ¼ cup cup fresh tomato salsa ¼ cup sliced black olives 1/2 medium avocado, sliced 1/2 cup greek yogurt . 1. Combine rice, lime juice, and cilantro in a medium bowl; mix well. Set aside. 2. Evenly divide rice, beans and chicken between four serving bowls. 3. Top with lettuce, cheese, salsa, olives and avocado. 4. Top each bowl with 2 Tbsp. of yogurt; serve immediately.

Mix together lamb mince, chopped mint leaves and a sprinkle of cumin and ground coriander 2. Squish together onto wooden sticks and fry 🍳 Cous cous: 1. Soak the cous cous in a small amount of hot water until all soaked up 2. Pour the cous cous into a wok and cook for 10 minutes 3. Chop your chosen veggies and stir in! (I chose mixed peppers, green beans and asparagus) 4. To me, fruit does not get any better than this- it’s so juicy, bursting with flavor, and just adds so much fun color to the day 🍑🍒 . But if I had to gripe about it, it would be that fruit alone does not SATISFY my hunger, and I see this with a lot of my patients too! The carbs, fiber, vitamins, and minerals found in fruits are all well and good, but they just don’t provide very much staying power. A fruit-only snack can lead to rummaging through the cabinets or fridge an hour later for more fruit (or another processed carb), send blood sugars on a rollercoaster, and lead to low energy too soon after 🎢🤦‍♀️ . So how do I recommend you enjoy your favorite summer fruit while keeping your hunger and blood sugars happy? Pair it with some more fiber, but also protein and healthy fats! Weeknight dinners must be easy for me, or it’s not getting cooked. This is why I meal prep. However I don’t meal prep for the entire week. I can’t eat the same thing all week I’ll go crazy. Another 1 pot wonder. This one is made in the oven. Salmon spinach and tomatoes (though the tomatoes have been picked out of Squirrel's portion here to save having the whole thing tossed on the floor). * Butter an oven proof dish. Toss in a couple fillets of frozen fish of choice along with some sliced onions, frozen spinach and seasoning (I added used parsley, chilli flakes and a touch of paprika- cause I'm addicted). Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 10 mins. Bring out the now partially cooked fish and spinach and add fresh pasta or if using dry pasta, soak it in freshly boiled water before this point, drain and add it to the dish. Add quartered cherry tomatoes and some basil leaves, stir and return to the oven for a further 15 mins. That's it. Bring out and enjoy! If you're using fresh fish and spinach just skip the first pre cook step and throw all the ingredients in together with a couple table spoons of water and bake for about 25 mins. _ #toddlerfood #blw #babyledweaning #kidfood #quickmeals #dinner #pasta #onepot

| Spicy green paste | 💚 . Hey folks, how are you? . Wish Insta had an aroma button, because this Thai green curry paste smells so fresh and vibrant. Such a quick paste to throw together. Loosely based on a recipe by @jamieoliver 💚 So for starters....lemongrass, juice and zest of 2 limes, a small bunch of coriander, basil as it needed using up, salad onions, fresh ginger, garlic and one green chilli, powdered coriander and cumin and olive oil all blitz until zingy, zangy 😋 💚 Will cook the paste with green beans, 🥦baby corn, coconut milk and prawns and serve with brown rice. 💚 Who's coming for dinner?

A quick healthy veggie meal fried in oliveoil. 1.Fry one whole sliced onion with 2 chopped chillies, then remove when lightly brown. 2. Fry brown mushrooms in same oil, then remove. 3. Fry two sliced carrots with skin until fork just pierces through but not soft. 4. Lastly fry Kale in same olive oil. Sprinkle Hymalayan salt to taste. Then mix altogether and enjoy on a wrap or on its own.
