🖤 Cheeseburger Mac 🖤 Our little contribution to Cheeseburger Day! Sauteed some diced onions, added beyondmeat Beyond Beef and then seasoned the mix with McCormick Hamburger seasoning, dehydrated onion, garlic, paprika, cumin, liquid aminos, and some uprisefoods Nooch It! Then added that mix to some mac n cheese 😍 Threw some green onions on top and done! 😍 So filling and comforting. Ian topped his portion with a bunch of black pepper, while I doused mine in Texas Pete 😆 I also wanted to share some tips that we've been using while cooking with Beyond Beef. First: If you want to drastically reduce the "Beyond" flavor, brown your crumbles a bit in a pan and then drain them on paper towels before adding to your dish. Second: Season season season! Treat it like you would plain ground beef...it needs a little help 😆 I'm excited to work with it further, I think meatball subs are in our future. 🔮 🎃Happy Wednesday!🎃

Soy curl tagine with jeweled couscous 🤤 This is a modified resippy that I'll link in my bio. I basically added green beans, petite diced carrot, and green olives. And subbed soy curls for tofu and maple syrup for honey. Also, I used pearl couscous because it's what I had on had but you should really just use the regular type. This is probably not a helpful recommendation at this point, haha, but it was good! Guys I did it. I went vegan, on the Primal Kitchen Ranch. All they did was take out the eggs. It’s still runny like the original one but it’s probably because they don’t put certain crap in it. And I’m perfectly okay with a little bit of run action, it still tastes good and It doesn’t have industrial seed/vegetable oils and added sugar like other condiments typically have. Slide to the next picture and you will see what the actual meal was. That’s right it’s football season and one of my favorite foods in general but also while watching football is wings. And as always, with health and taste in mind, I made these homemade hot wings. I bake the wings in the oven and coat them with high heat stable avocado oil, instead of how a restaurant would typically prepare their wings fried in non stable seed oils. I used my choice of hot sauce that EXCLUDES sugar and seed oil like the ones restaurants typically use. A hot sauce that is basically made with pepper, spice, and vinegar. These wings are high in complete protein, essential nutrient dense, and sustainably delicious. Win win for me. The wings are paleo, gluten free, whole 30, Keto, half vegan, and most importantly Haithem approved for six pack abs. I never heard of Pizza Boy in Glendale before, but they have a TON of vegan options. This vegan veggie pizza was excellent. However, the vegan Caesar salad was meh and the vegan wings — like a spongy, cut up Gardein breast — was worse than meh. But I definitely want to go back and try more of their stuff. They have a ton of crazy crust options that are all vegan — beet crust, anyone? But the “original” crust was very good. Also, everyone else in the place was eating the Ajarski Khachapuri, which the internet says is a Georgian dish of egg and bread and cheese, which they said they could do a vegan version of, so maybe next time I’ll try it. They have a ton of vegan meat options too, so you could really get inventive with your pizzas. The weather is definitely getting warmer in Melbourne and moods are lifting but I couldn’t help make this gorgeous soup one last time when I saw these deep purple carrots packed with potent antioxidants at the green grocer. The purée is optional as the carrot soup is perfect as is, but it does add freshness, flavour and colour to the soup. Just be careful with seasoning if the stock you use has sufficient salt purplecarrot soup vegansoup broadbean peas carrotsoup healthyfood healthy healthylifestyle instavegan vegansofinstagram vegansofig vegetables Velvet Purple Carrot Soup with a Broadbean, Pea and Mint Purée 16 purple carrots sliced in half lengthwise 2 orange carrots cut lengthwise 1 red onion cut into wedges 5 garlic cloves finely chopped 4 celery stalks roughly chopped 2 leeks (white part only) cut into 1cm rounds 1/2 a capsicum roughly cut EVOO 1/2 cup soy cream 3 cups vegetable stock 1 vegan chicken stock cube (optional) Himalayan pink salt and white pepper to taste Finely chopped parsley Preheat the oven to 190•C. Place all the vegetables, onion and garlic in a deep oven tray. Season with salt and pepper and coat with EVOO. Bake for 30 minutes until the vegetables are caramelised. Blend in 2 batches with 1 cup of the stock and some chopped parsley each time. Then heat a tablespoon of EVOO in a deep saucepan over low heat. Add the blended mixture. Stir. Add the additional cup of stock, the stock cube and the cream. Season with some white pepper and salt to taste. Serve with the broad bean/pea purée (optional) or fresh parsley. Broadbean and pea purée: 2 tablespoons EVOO 1 purple shallot finely chopped 1 cup broadbeans 1/2 cup peas 1 cup vegetable stock 6 mint leaves finely chopped 1/2’cup soy cream (optional) Over a medium flame, in a medium saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of EVOO. Add the shallots and as soon as translucent, add the stock. When the stock comes to a boil, add the broadbeans, peas and fresh mint. Once cooked, season and then blend. Once blended, place back over heat and add the cream (if using).

Rotti Deets; One cup Jowar Flour One cup Water Oneteaspoon Salt Procedure; 1. Heat water in a pan and add salt and mix it well. When it starts boiling, add the Jower flour paste to boiling water and mix continuously to avoid any lumps till all the water is absorbed. 2. Once the water is absorbed, lower the flame and add little bit of flour allow it to cook for 5 minutes. 3. After 5 minutes, add the jowar flour as required and allow it to cool after cooling knead well. Keep adding little hot water or flour at a time until the dough becomes soft and nonsticky. 4. Make small balls out of the dough, Dust your rolling surface with little whole Jower flour and roll the roties by adding flour. 5. Place the rolled roti on griddle and cook on medium flame. Then flip. 6. Serve Jolada Rotti Recipe along with Yengaai (Eggplant stuffed gravy) or with cluster beans subji or Tomato kayi chutney or with any chutney pudi with curd or ghee. . . .
