Well, last week was a productive, throwing myself back into things kind of week. This week has started far more slowly, with things to deal with and less time. This recipe is a breakfast I made a week or so ago and have been meaning to share since then, and not having anything I made today to post, I thought it was the perfect opportunity 😋 It's a baked porridge recipe, and I think it's one of my favourites! All the ingredients are simply delicious together, and you can easily adjust the amounts to fit the number of people you are feeding. This amount feeds one adult and one smallish child, giving the adult about 60% and the child 40%. If you are an adult with a smaller appetite (unlike me...) you could serve this to two of you. Enjoy 😄 Ingredients 100g jumbo rolled oats 1 tbsp dessiccated coconut, plus extra to sprinkle 1 tbsp almond butter Oat milk (or other non-dairy milk) 1 tbsp honey Couple of handfuls blueberries 5 medjool dates, pitted and roughly chopped Handful of whole almonds, sliced lengthways, or flaked almonds Put the oven on at fan 200°C. Measure the oats into a large bowl and add the coconut. Add the blueberries and dates and mix in, then pour over the oat milk until about 1/2 cm over the mixture. Add the honey and almond butter and stir in well. Scatter the almonds over the surface, followed by the extra dessiccated coconut. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes until the top is golden and the blueberries are bubbling. Roasted honey balsamic sweet potato. Washed and cut in half. Scored on the flat side to help with cooking through. Basted on both sides with the honey balsamic glaze and roasted till soft and tender in the middle. Switched to the grill (skin side down) to get the beautiful sticky char on the edges. Making my own granola is my top adulting activity of the day. Simple yet punchy oat granola with orange, winter spices, cranberries and some nuts and seeds. A nod to the festive season. INGREDIENTS - 300g rolled oats - 30g dairy-free butter (melted) - 50g coconut oil (melted) - 70g pure honey - 1/2 tsp orange extract - 1/2 tsp nutmeg - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - Zest of half an orange - Pinch of sea salt METHOD Mix dry ingredients together, pour in a mix of all the wet ingredients and stir till evenly coated.Spread onto a lined baking tray and place into a preheated fan oven at 150degC for 25 minutes before turning. Add your choice of nuts and seeds and dried currants. Bake for a further 10 minutes. Tip for bigger clusters is to allow to cool fully before breaking apart. That’s it. Asian Quinoa & Beetroot Topped with shredded red cabbage, yellow Courgetti & Edamame bean. Topped with a miso & Cashew dressing. Seriously yum. . . 🌈 . . Boil 1 part Quinoa to 2 parts water, added 1 shredded beetroot and a tbsp of coconut butter. Cool until. Quinoa tails appear. Then turn the heat off. Add your choice of veggies to this. I kept the Courgetti raw. For the dressing mix miso paste , soaked Cashews, orange juice, ginger, Tamari, salt and a bit of honey. RESTAURANT UPDATE: It is with great sadness that we announce that we are no longer planning to open our new space on Gillygate. As many of you know, we have recently endured a lengthy process to change the use of the building. However, challenges to our application have caused restrictions and conditions on the approval of the A3 licence. Unfortunately the objections were raised without the other party even bothering to fully understand our proposition - amongst their concerns were ‘the noise, a late night licence, cooking odours and extraction’, none of which are issues associated with our consciously low impact brand. As a result, the restrictions associated with the change of use granted to us late last week would have seriously limited our potential not only to grow our brand but our ability to deliver the level of service and flexibility we have established over the past year. For that reason we have made the incredibly tough decision to walk away. For the time being I will focus on pop-ups, trying to find a new home for our lovely Supper Club and private dining. And we are in the perfect season for eating foods of this color: winter squash (butternut, acorn, delicata, kabocha, Kuri), pumpkin, carrots, golden beets, and sweet potatoes. Perfekt vardagskäk 🌿👌🏻 - Recipe in english: 2 cans of tuna in water 1 package of mixed organic beans 2 eggs 2 tbsp physillum husk Salt and pepper Chili flakes Fresh basil Coconut oil for frying - How to: Start with the tuna and put it in a bowl. Smash it with the beans til you get a smooth batter. Add egg, physillum husk, and the seasoning (chili flakes, salt and peppar, fresh basil). Let the batter swell for 10 minutes before you form your beefs. Fry them in coconut oil, 3-4 minutes on every side. Boil the quinoa in coconut milk instead of water, highly recommend! So so tasty. Serve with a simple yoghurt dressing, free option!

The loveliest, most flavoursome and nourishing of lunches 💚 Hoping I'm finally ready to spring back into creating delicious recipes for you to salivate over, be inspired by, and recreate or adapt in your own kitchens! I threw this together for my lunch today, knowing I really needed to pull myself together and fill myself with some beneficial nutrients, so I used a base of spinach, then had a rummage in the fridge to see what delights I could add. Here's what I came up with.... Ingredients Few handfuls of spinach, washed and sliced About 7 radishes, very thinly sliced Half an avocado, peeled and sliced Few handfuls piccolo tomatoes, halved Handful of dried sun-dried tomatoes 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp raw organic apple cider vinegar 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp nigella seeds 1 tsp honey Place the sliced radishes in a small bowl and add the olive oil, cider vinegar, turmeric, nigella seeds, and honey. Stir together and set aside. Place the washed, sliced spinach in a pasta bowl. Arrange the sliced avocado on top, with the two types of tomato. Drizzle over the dressing. ENJOY! 😋 Seriously, this is one of the simplest lunches you could make, but the flavours are incredible! This is the first picture I ever took of a Lucky Santo menu item! It’s the chicken liver ragu with celery noodles and it’s got everything I want in a glutenfree paleo dish. At this particular stage in my journey I’ve been releasing A LOT of old, outdated programming along with old ways of thinking and being in the world that no longer serve me. The mind and the body are connected. Feel it fully and see how it begins to change. Instead of labeling the e-motion ( energy in motion ) stay with it, observe it, describe it. Does it have a shape or a colour? Where is it located? since my journey with detoxification began a few years ago, there have been so many intuitive changes within my body. I could no longer stomach heavy, cooked meals of any kind and as a result found myself moving more and more towards a completely raw diet, consisting of fresh & flavorful, creative salads such as this, along with smoothies, fresh juices & juicy, high water content fruits. 🍉 Just because it’s raw doesn’t mean it has to be boring or lack flavor! Combining a number of recipes I found online I’ve created this cucumber noodle salad with a spicy tomato sauce 🌶 perfect for warm summer evenings & light midday lunches 🥗 To create this dish I spiralized half a cucumber 🥒 with the skin cut off and added some organic baby chard with one or two sliced organic baby radishes. In a blender I combined 7 cherry tomatoes 🍅 a handful of mung bean sprouts, a little garlic, a dash of lime, one large date (raisins can be used too), paprika, rosemary, mixed herbs and a dash of a korma curry blend of spices consisting of coriander, cumin, fennel, cloves, cinnamon, coconut, cardamom, turmeric, garlic, ginger, chili, tomato paste and black pepper. In place of this spice blend you can also use a dash of cumin and/or a dash of cayenne pepper 🌶 blend on high speed until you have your desired consistency, pour over your cucumber noodles, garnish with a few more sprouts and voila 🍅 nori (seaweed) wraps pair amazingly with this salad, and turn it into a super tasty salad wrap 🌟 if you decide to try this recipe out let me know! 🌶🍋🥒🍅🥗🤗 ~ fruitarian detoxtime alkalizeyourbody monofruitmeal healthiswealth fruitdietmiracles natureknowsbetter veganlife fruitloversparadise dreamlifestyle mucusfreelife robertmorse detoxmiraclesourcebook selflovejourney healthylife healingwithplantsandfruits vibrantfood fruitfasting livingfoods foodismedicine
