I chose to have vsg and have my portions restricted but I had the discipline to eat Healthier. I had the discipline to accept this wasn’t going to be easy and I’m going to push through no matter what, EVERY BAD DAY I STILL SHOWED UP. You know how many times I’ve cried in this gym? MANY. Because no matter what went on around me, I came here for myself at the end of the day and I made it priority to fit it in my day and show up no matter how hard it was going to be. Kitchen too. I live with a huge family, I had the discipline to cook my own food when everybody else got to have my FAVORITE THINGS. But you know what I wanted more? A new life. Yeah I went threw times where I gave in and I felt like there was no going back, that’s a lie. I’ve accepted failure and I still came back head on strong because THIS is what I wanted. I STILL SHOW UP because a healthy life is what I want. And it feels better than anything else in the world. So if you’re reading this and need some motivation, it doesn’t matter how you get there because there’s thousands of ways to get here. But the key to getting on the right path to being healthy, is discipline and it’s consistency. I’ve heard it millions of times, trust me it went in one ear and out the other until I learned that whoever made that saying up, was right all along. And all I had to do was follow it, and let it be hard and accept that there’s going to be a lot of high and lows but to TRUST IT. Giving up is the easiest thing we can do, so be strong and let it be hard when times get hard. But success is on the other side, and it’ll all be worth it. And that’s why I share my journey. ⬇️100lbs in 1yr I didn't gain weight after marriage, pregnancy, illness, or anything like that. I just was and lived that since I could feed myself.
