Often at the very heart of shoulder pain is the subscapularis. The presence of trigger points can reduce the shoulders range of motion and rotation. These effects may lead to a misdiagnosis for arthritis, bursitis and/or rotator cuff injury. Something to consider before making a beeline for surgical intervention •• This muscle helps to center the shoulder joint; weakness will cause the shoulder head to migrate unopposed. Once this happens, you may start to feel pain at the front of your shoulder or clicking sounds when moving your shoulder around •• Points normally develop through overexertion and a lack of conditioning. This includes sports such as swimming, boxing, baseball and weightlifting •• With your fingers pressing against your ribs, make your way into the passage between your ribs and armpit. Then gently massage up and outwards, away from the shoulder blade. Avoid excessive force as this muscle is close to the axillary artery and brachial plexus (nerves). Doing this correctly will relieve dull pain •• To resolve weakness, subscapularis flys are perfect as they mimic the function of the muscle - adduction and internal rotation. You have these two diamond blocks and over the course of the years, the edges are roughed out by all of life's lessons and experiences you go through together, which although all aren't easy, some honestly are down deep tough .. so tough going through those twists and turns, one might get it stuck .. . . We have those moments, and memories of happiness being sprinkled upon us furthering to buff and shine us as diamonds ... . . Those happy moments are the ones that continue to give life to those diamonds, show how beautiful they can be even after it's been bumped, chipped, dropped around on experiences given and lessons learned ... . . So yeah, I video some of my moves during my workouts ... this workout was called Total Body Badass .. and with this move “ baby scorpion” you try and go higher and higher, i was listening to my trainer saying “Make it strong and long” .. and when I looked back at my video ..
