🎉Oil Portrait commissions are now available! 🎉
I'm so excited offer this special kind of commission, and to carefully capture all the details that make the one you love so uniquely beautiful!
These portraits take some time (it took me foreverrrrr to get this innocent/vulnerable/all consuming expression that Grey makes with his eyes *just right*) but they are so, so rewarding and I can't wait to make the next treasured piece for your home!

This boy 😍💕 Even after a weekend full of temper tantrums, he still has my heart ❤️ If you’d like me to do a portrait of your kiddo too, good news! I’m working on opening up spots for portrait commissions 🙌🏻 Keep your eyes peeled for a portrait announcement in your inbox this week!

Sometimes it's hard for me to put into words the thread that connects the different categories of work I make, but looking at pieces all together is helping.
I've always had a very 19th century aesthetic (aka if it looks like it belongs in a Jane Austen novel, I probably love it) but it's taken a while to let that shine through in my work (or maybe you already knew this about my work? sometimes I think I'm just too close to it all to see clearly 🤦🏻♀️) Playing around in the studio now, I can see the pieces that fit that aesthetic are the ones I love the best.
Something about seeing the figure forms against the pastoral landscapes makes me think of a classic English estate or an Italian villa, and I think it's the combination of it all together that hits the sweet spot for me. So excited to keep delving deeper into this direction- thanks for following along on this journey!
🎉New landscape prints available in the shop! 🎉
I've been working hard on expanding the print collection, along with updating the framing options and offering larger size prints 🤗
If you're looking for a cost-effective way to get one of my pieces up on your wall, prints are 👌They are made to order on archival paper, so please allow a little extra time for processing while your order is printed.
My husband took the kids to my in-law's so I could get in some extra studio time ❤❤❤
I'll be over here painting in jammies, snacking on scraps I've scavenged from the cabinets, and playing the music loud for the rest of the weekend!
The only downside to being a working artist & mother is not having much time for creative side projects!
I finally got around to doing this portrait of Lila I’ve been wanting to do for a few months, ever since I grabbed this shot of her with major Brigitte Bardot vibes ✨Now on to one of Grey 👌🏻 I’m thinking about offering oil portrait commissions... what do you think? 💕
